I predict that when the government hits it’s target of achieving the same approval rating as genital herpes, it will begin to talk about the virtues of PR.
Some good may come out of this then :-)

one of the things that was Rory's undoing was his vocal views on the state of our prisons. Not a popular policy with our rightist chums. How right has been shown to beStood down not defeated
100% this. It's what I have been saying for ages.... apparently that makes me a Farage fanboy to the kids in here. I have said for ages now, neither Labour nor Conservatives are fit to run a bath, never mind a Country.Anything that makes the country work because we seem to be getting more and more broken, and its the politicians (That plenty in here support) that are actually fucking the nation up.
How anyone can support a conservative govn that tanks the economy, or a Labour govn that are slowly taking our rights away is beyond me. They repeatedly fail us, and all anyone can say on here is your lot are worse than our lot, thats all that remains now.
Really? Like has been said, why did he need to involve referring himself to the standards commission? Should just pay any penalty like every other citizen would have to do?Think the most damming bit is his failure to catch anything. Let's be honest stupid mistake but does it really matter?

The reason I (and a large portion of the country) am voting for Reform is down to the fact that neither Labour, nor Conservatives have done a very good job and are totally pissed off with them.Nope.
What makes you a Farage fanboy is the fact you’ve repeatedly said you’re voting Reform.
Quite simple really.
Agree totally. The party fanboys weird me out. I think in my life I’ve voted CON, LAB, LIB DEM, GREEN and Robbie the rhino. There’s no monopoly on good ideasAnything that makes the country work because we seem to be getting more and more broken, and its the politicians (That plenty in here support) that are actually fucking the nation up.

The only way I could see this being forced and this will never happen but if the GE turnout was less than 25%. Or introduction of a counted “none of the above” option as opposed to it going down as a spoiled ballotWe desperately need to reform our voting system, making it more likely we might vote for something/someone instead of against.
It’s nigh on impossible to get rid of an MP under this system and we have majority governments that the vast majority didn’t actually want.
Before the last election, over 100 seats hadn’t changed hands for over 100 years and 247 hadn’t changed hands in over 50 years.
These figures are somewhat false as well, given many seats that changed hands in 2019 were something of an anomaly with Brexit and Corbin creating a perfect storm.
Trouble is, because their snouts are firmly in the trough, the current government appear to have forgotten how much they supported this when it looked like Boris might be in for 10 years+.

Sorry mate, Robbie the rhino was a twatAgree totally. The party fanboys weird me out. I think in my life I’ve voted CON, LAB, LIB DEM, GREEN and Robbie the rhino. There’s no monopoly on good ideas
Only person (rhino) who bothered to show up and talk about his ideasSorry mate, Robbie the rhino was a twat
So why are so many people planning to do this [vote for Reform]? Can they all be wrong? Or could it be that people are so pissed off (yes that pissed off) with the hypocrisy and lies that we have been subjected to for the last fifteen years plus that Reform look like a better option. You planning on voting for reform does that, nothing else.
There are other options. I’d strongly suggest checking how reform councillors are doing given you’re now able to see evidence of how well they’d do at governing a country too.

The main Parties and their supporters really do need to ask themselves that question and realise the majority od the support for Reform eminated from their own incompetence and inaequacies.
I know abuse will come my way (bring it on if it gives you satisfaction) but sadly that is the way it is and the mainstream Parties need to get their arses in gear though I believe even at this early stage it is probably too late for them to rescue their position before the next election.
This 100%The outrage with current politics I get but why do you think Reform look like a better option beyond not being the other two?
It's entirely possible for them to be even worse. In fact I say the available data suggests it's probable they will be worse for the country. Theyre good at tapping into the justified anger that people feel and shit at everything else.
I'm not accusing anyone of being a fanboy of anyone, I just don't see where the confidence comes from that they are going to be anything other than a poundland maga car crash.
In all sincerity I do not believe they will be much good in government ut I know the Conservatives will blatantly abuse their position and look after their own and Labour will do exactly the same but more underhandedly. Out of the two the pain for the public will be the same..... both without any hesitation. The outrage with current politics I get but why do you think Reform look like a better option beyond not being the other two?

The only spineless person is you.In all sincerity I do not believe they will be much good in government ut I know the Conservatives will blatantly abuse their position and look after their own and Labour will do exactly the same but more underhandedly. These Party's are all short termism, no vision beyond five years and that is very much the problem of our FPTP electoral system.
You can check back and you will see I have constantly reached out trying to find someone to vote for. I am not daft enough to think Reform will give us good government but I do not believe they could be much worse than that which we have had to endure over the last two or three decades. The only question in my mind is, is it worth the risk? And right now I am minded to think so.
For me Starmer is absolutely spineless and looks more and more like a rabbit in headlines everytime he appears om the screen... and the Tories... just as bad.
We are in a shit state. My big hope is that we will get PR and soon,
