The Damned Have Announced A Huge Show In London To Celebrate 50 Years As A Band

The Damned are taking to London for a huge show to celebrate 50 years as band as they hit Wembley Stadium next year.

Tickets secured for this one the support band The Loveless are worth the entry fee alone. With Peter Hook and the light thrown in for good measure it promieses to be a good day. Now I’m praying we don’t get the 5:30 kick off at Chelsea that day. I’ll take 12:30 or preferably the Sunday : ).

Posted before, my old work colleague Nigel Crossthwaite who was in Blackpool punk bands Sick 56, One Way System and the Pink Torpedoes (lived in Fleetwood) arrived home one evening and his elderly neighbour said “I don't want to worry you Nigel but a man with green hair had gone into your house”, Nigel just said “don’t worry, I wasn’t expecting him but it will be my mate Charlie Harper”, his wife had let him in and he’d called for a brew before a gig in the area, punk rock and roll royalty.
