Ederson did something similar against Juve in the CWC. I also think as much as that goal is ultimately Traffords fault, Dias does him no favors playing him the ball. At 1-0 down our captain should be making sure we do nothing daft and get to half time still in the game.

He has one career, one family, and one imperative…use one to take care of the other.

He is currently our player and a replacement ANYWHERE near his quality is going to be very expensive. Instead, pay him well to stay for a few years.

At this point, I just want him to stay. Donna is an amazing shotstopper, but he's hopeless with the ball at his feet. I can foresee disaster if he arrives and becomes our starting keeper. What on Earth do Pep and Hugo have in mind?

Specially for the champions league format that has changed recently, we need some really good shot stopping keepers. Ederson is gobshit in penalties. He has only saved one penalty in all his CIty career that too in penalty shootout. Even I am better than him in penalties.
Yes he is the best in history in ball playing abilities. But Average in Shot stopping. He was fantastic in one season, thats when we won the champions league.
That may be the reason City have gone for Trafford and donna... even knowing that they are not good with their feet. But who is in front of ederson ?? Noone are.
The problem is our team is build for a ball playing keeper.
This season is a transition for City. So many new players and also a new style of playing.

Its noticeable that whenever we have seen trafford play so far he does kick long at times...he even kicked out of his hands the other day which is really rare for our keepers to do

Probably watched Ederson make the same mistakes Traff did Saturday quite a few times last season, all without having the shot stopping availability of Traff or Donna. We probably think if we are getting the mistakes from Ederson, we may as well get the mistakes from a keeper who will save more maybe
