Save Our Ruben Interim

That doesn't surprise me. I worked with him as part of City Matters so got to know him reasonably well and he's a thoroughly decent guy. But I suspect that job needs someone with a much more forceful personality.
I was in company of several employees and they said hes a brilliant 3rd/4th in command but in no way a number 1

Loose like he's playing battleships there!!

He's clueless.
FFS, are you on the right thread ? Your not doing the campaign much good with that kind of comment.

I came onto say ' well, we've got through the day without the terrible news, that has to be a plus. I'm currently at M/cr airport monitoring the Potugese flights in case he tries to do a runner, don't worry Blues, if he does turn up, I'll bring him back'.

Not wishing to be exposed as a closet rag or anything but he seems quite a decent fella to me and seems to lack the usual nasty, bitter, entitled, chip-on-the-shoulder qualities one normally associates with managers of these twats.

They have at least £1bn in long-term debt. They have loaded a lot of that onto their Cayman Islands company but there is no evidence the Glazers have deep enough pockets to pay it all back. They are trying to raise another billion for the stadium plan but it is impossible to see how any Government would support that in the current climate. It can only be a PR stunt to preserve the share price. It is possible they have a buyer lined up in the wings but the Saudis are already in Newcastle and the geo-politics makes it impossible for the Chinese, who have invested hugely in Manchester in the past. Perhaps the Glazers (who have close ties to Trump) have a big US tech giant lined up but who knows? With no European football United must be in a major crisis.
An away draw and defeat in the 3rd round of the FA Cup means income from only 18 gate receipts until Aug 2026. Guess they’ll need to get on the roof with some Flashband,

Its pretty clear Amorim didn't and doesnt want half the players they've signed under him. They've clearly got eyes on the next man even before they've given him the boot. If you're a manager looking for a job and you look at that squad, who is going to want to work with it? They're going to be tied up with PSR after their latest spending, hardly any value in sellable assets. No europe, any new manager will largely have to work with what they've got and that isn't a lot.

I'm pretty sure they won't be; they always seem to find a workaround, and after those run out, the regulations will most likely be amended.

Noticed that Dan Roan wasn't on the beeb tonight reporting from the swamp....pretty sure he'd have been at the Etihad if it had been City losing last night. Maybe too much for him to take.
Those mardarse reporters from the BBC that are obsessed with the rags, will be going missing on a far more regular basis from now on.

Realistically, the likes of him and Slimey Stones couldn't possibly spin that shite. I often wondered what it would take for the media to drop the filth and let the fuckers sink. I never imagined it would be losing to mariners.

It's quite apt really.
