Russian invasion of Ukraine

No
There were two opportunities and both were scuppered by the Americans
Ukraine has to survive whilst the ruSSian economy collapses. That will end the war
Best result for Ukraine is that it retrieves some of the occupied territory. It'll never get all of it back and in all sadness, Crimea is lost
So why don’t they accept they will lose land and agree to that as part of a way out? They’re sadly not going to get the land back by force (ie defeat the Russian army).
In a no-win situation something has to give.
Or is this too naive of me?

The Ukrainians have pretty much agreed to a ceasefire along current lines
Then they want to negotiate

The ruSSians will not agree to a ceasefire and to end the war, want more territory that they don't occupy and the territory they want is heavily fortified
If the Ukrainians give that land up it's an open goal for the ruSSians to kick off again when it has regrouped and rearmed

They will accept that as soon as they can be sure that the cunts won’t come again. Would you agree to give up land if you thought the person who stole it from you would be back again for more in a few years?

That’s the price for them giving up that land. Meaningful guarantees.

And they haven’t been forthcoming as yet.

There is no end in sight unless Ukraine agrees to give Putin everything, which won't happen.

Putin is in the fortunate position of other countries being able and willing to sacrifice their personnel for his war. But they won't do this forever.

This strategy has helped keep the war away from Moscow and St Petersburg. Presumably if Ukraine were to be given permission to hit targets in either, Putin would rain down even more rockets and drones on Keiv.

With Trump being beyond useless and Putin so unbending, presumably this war will continue until at least this time next year by which time Putin will have around 300-400,000 more dead and injured, his hardware will be severely deployed and he will have fewer oil refineries.

With the US being a busted flush, Europe needs to keep funding and resourcing Uktaine. I can't see any other viable alternative.

This pretty much sums up where we are, sadly.

This entirely depends on whether Ukrainian attacks on oil refining can start to cut fuel to the military at the front.

There does seem to be a lot of fuel targeting going on all round . Without fuel the entire supply line collapses, or even chunks of the front line would be good. And there is certainly wid spread fuel shortages in Russia at the moment.

It’s a big if mind you.

I don't know where it was fired from,so don't know the distance travelled.
But,on 30th August an FSB border base near Armyansk,Crimea, was hit with pinpoint accuracy.
The base and personel was absolutely obliterated.
This was the work of "The Flamingo"

Slava Ukraini.

Im guessing this was just a test run for it with the location of the base that was hit. Id guess targets deeper and deeper into Russian territory will get hit now.

What’s changed in the area? The Ukrainians seem to have captured several villages in Donetsk recently.
The Russians don't seem to have any Mechanized/heavy brigades in this area.
They keep being forced to storm across open fields, and Ukrainian drones pick them off.
Ukrainian presence in the area consists of...
5th Heavy Mechanized Brigade
61st Mechanized Brigade
67th Mechanized Brigade
141st Mechanized Brigade
225th Assault Regiment
3rd Mechanized Battalion
31st Mechanized Brigade
72nd Mechanized Brigade
110th Mechanized Brigade
And many many more.
Posted the other week that my cousin(110th) and a lot of serious firepower had been moved there.

Slava Ukraini.

Using jamming of gps on Ursula Von de Leyen’s plane landing in Bulgaria. Another example of the snide stuff the Russians get up to. They aren’t realistic about peace, being in a constant state of war helps the Kremlin to convince the Russian population is external from nato and not the corrupt nonces who run the country.

Since the annoucement of Flamingo.
A lot of Russian air defence systems have been moved to protect Putins palaces.
Ukrainian drones are coming up against little resistence,if any,in some regions.

They really are horrible, small time cunts.
