PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

One opinion does not a game, set and match make.

Even if it's probably right. But you can't deny the timing is odd. A few weeks ago he was lording it over Neville in his chairman's role. Thursday? International break? It does stink of a quick exit out the back door for some reason ....
I know mate i was just being silly.

15 love.....

Is there such a thing as a “slow” resignation ffs how desperate / paranoid are we
Spurs have been after him for years they were more distracted by wanting him out as we witnessed first hand the other week hardly celebrated their annual gift from us all we heard was they want Levy out

If another cartel club have another resignation in the next week or so I will fall in line again

I’m sure this was discussed somewhere within these 5000 pages but Iv missed it. apologies for covering old ground if so.

Will we hear something to say the outcome is getting released on a set date or is it more likely they will just drop it on a random day out of nowhere?

Why go three games in though?

The timing and speed is noteworthy to say the least. I don’t think anyone can definitively say it’s absolutely nothing to do with City, but there are a host of other just as likely explanations. I’d say it’s possible but unlikely.

Still good news overall, I’d say. He was unquestionably an agent provocateur when it came to City. Pep certainly thinks so.
I’m with you on this. If he has dragged the Lewis’s family name through the mud on this case. And they’ve had a slight whiff of the outcome. And ts only understandable that they’d want him out
And he definitely won’t be missed by City

Thats what i dont get , they had a reasonably good start to the season and they had him oversee the new manager and the summer signings and then hes out the door, in any industry when someone has 25 years of service, especially if they are in the upper echelon of that industry its reasonable to suggest that there would be some kind of transition period.

Maybe they want someone who will invest levy doesn’t put money in!

It’s nothing to do with 115/130 people always want to see what isn’t really true..

This is a joke …. I repeat this is a joke

What if the announcement is imminent and he is the new head of the EPL replacing Masters

The timing raises a number of perfectly legitimate questions.

very much so, for someone with 25 years under their belt to just walk out the door with zero transition period or handover and for them to go business as usual, nothing to see here is mind boggling.
Someone posted further back or in another thread that this was planned by Spurs from the end of last season. It appears to have been predicted on their equivalent to Bluemoon.

so why let him oversee the summer transfer window under a new manager and then do it three games into the season?

I expect, like Bluemoon, there will be a wide range of theories floating around at any given time. In terms of outcomes, some of them are going to be right at some point, even if it’s for the wrong reasons.
