Surely Labour spent too long in opposition to throw it all away after a single term by sticking with Starmer if the parties fortunes don’t change.
He’s been exceptional at the international part of the job so he’s not been a disaster and he’s been dealt a shit hand with the economy where it is and they’ve not got any coherent plan to improve it so far. Tough business politics.

Who knows? We’re in unprecedented times. 24/7 criticism of any government in all countries. It’s easy to rile up hatred now we’re so well connected.
Hopefully some positive domestic policies will start to stem the tide here, but he could give everyone £10m and he’d still be criticised.

Indeed so. It would be hypocritical to give Labour any slack for circumstances out of their control, when the Tories, inheriting a dire financial situation in 2010, and subsequently a global pandemic and hugely disruptive war in Europe, got no such allowance from their sniping critics. According to whom, all of our economic and social woes, are the Tories’ fault. It’s a bit more nuanced than that.
The Tories were indeed a shit show in their latter years. But so are Labour now. They do not get a free pass based on anything at all.
The Tories (aided by the Lib Dems) did effectively get a free pass for the years of austerity - until it became obvious it was an ideological austerity, not a necessity. Wrecking public services was a mission.

I think sole reason for the delay is her praying for some random and unknown economic good news to partly bail her out. So she’s leaving it as long as she possibly can.
I can understand that, but the downside is a self-fulfilling doom prophesy. The economy is now on pause, with businesses and people sitting on their hands fearing what she might do. So the economic situation in November is likely to be just as dire - perhaps even more so - than it is now.
Unless of course you believe the left wing geniuses on here who will tell you that we are not broke, can never go broke, that we need to spend more on public services and all will be well. And the rich - I.e. someone else, but not me, can pay for it all.

Of course Vic. Not even the Tories want decent schools, hospitals and infrastructure, do they. No, they want oblivion for the uk and won’t be happy until we’re all scrabbling around in the dirt for the next turnip to feed the family for a week. FFS your bias is so overwhelming, you come out with some absolute horse shit, you really do. No-one WANTS crap public services. No-one, red or blue.
Yet the Tories managed to achieve it.

They've been doing just that for weeks if not months already.
That was the "Tory technique" of previous Tory budgets where everything had been leaked or actually announced beforehand. Rather, Labour has spent weeks trying not to respond to every tax-raising idea that gets aired - so the headline can be (as above) "Labour refuses to rule out ...".

You can nail down your systems all you want but its only as secure as the system administrators. Bung someone a chunk of money for their user details who has the correct privileges and the criminals are in.
Whilst I appreciate that anyone from anywhere could succumb to the temptation of a large sum of money, its got to be much more tempting if you live in a developing country and get paid relatively poor wages. Yet most large western companies offshore their IT to these places.

Didn’t say I have a problem with them sending their kids to private school what I had a problem with was austerity. The pursued austerity whilst feathering their own nests ruining the public sector, I didn’t have a pay rise for 10 years yet they allowed banks to pay bonuses to people who caused the financial crash, they are a set of cunts and this lot in charge now aren’t much better.

I think youngsters have given up getting on the ladder and just blowing their cash whilst living at home, also how many of these restaurants are open in a year? Currently one a day. Tory record was 5 a day in 2017.
I don't think I need to go into all the reasons why pubs close. My favourite pub closed, as many did, because the pubco put up the rent and the tenant said stuff it, I can't afford that, and no-one else was willing to pay the asking price. Token planning application to turn into a gastropub so when they come to demolish for housing they can say "we tried to keep it as a pub".
