Russian invasion of Ukraine

Desperate. At some point the Oligarchs are going to call time on him

Take a look at the Paul Walburg video above. I've not watched it all yet but seems as though some Oligarchs are making moves at the moment. areas of Russia where police are having a hard time now have Oligarch funded vigilante groups and some seem to be preparing to break away from Mother Russia.

All very early so might not come to anything but building blocks seem to be being placed.

He addressed the nation about a holy war and calling up another mobilisation of troops. He just won’t stop until stopped god I hate that murderous cretin mate.
Another mobilisation right now might actually benefit Ukraine. Russians are feeling the pinch. They've mobilised the east and this next step would naturally touch Moscow/St Petersburg more than previous rounds.

Russia's collapse must come from within. They are a country who historically have risen up and overthrown leaders. Hopefully this is the final straw for many people.

Hoping so mate.

Oh the irony if this happens, trying to bring back the ussr but actually making Russia smaller
And making NATO bigger! He has literally caused that himself.

He’s doubling down because he has no choice. If things were going as well as the Kremlin likes to suggest then they wouldn’t need to do this, especially as winter is coming. Same goes for all these attacks on civilian targets. If they were winning on the battlefield why waste scarce military resources on attacking civilians?

The number of people accidentally falling from windows whilst shooting themselves in the head seems to have increased recently.

Is there any analysis as to why this is? Is it just the Russian criminal kleptocracy settling scores, or is there something more systematic going on ie Putin putting down incipient rebellions?

Imagine if Siberia breaks away and immediatly asks for NATO membership

Moreover, in the same timeframe as the recent arrests, a new wave of suspicious "suicides" of Russian officials and businessmen was ongoing. It’s easy to assume these suicides are politically motivated assassinations but another equally plausible explanation is that Russia is an unbelievably shit place to live.
