Weren't there rumours over summer of him being open to a move to Liverpool. I know that doesn't necessarily mean Bayern are open to it, but when noises like that start coming from a players camp there is usually something in it.

I've seen the rumours but its more likely to be him angling for a new contract. Let him stay at Bayern another two years and then he can come at the same time as Kompany ;)

Might be worth keeping an eye on how Igor Paixão develops at Olympique Marseille. He had a good season last year at Feyenoord and has started well under De Zerbi. Turned 25 in the summer and put Ajax to the sword last night. His goals were well taken but the speed at which he got up the pitch to feed Aubameyang raised an eyebrow: he actually collected the ball in his own box but his speed can be seen @ 1.02.

How about playing our actual fast CB with pace as an CB and Nunes as RB until a real RB arrives next season? How about that? It won’t happen because some players have too much credit and will get an extension regardless. At least Bah is fast IF he gets a chance next season
