Exactly, how quick the media were to tell us the Rags only just failed UEFA FFP and no investigation into how the Rags avoided the PSR with the joke covid claim.

With all due respect I could not give two f#$Ws what the majority of fans from opposing teams believe. I believe we've won the Prem 6 times in the past 8 seasons, done a treble, and won an unprecedented 4 in a row. Ask me my thoughts on ManUre, Liverpoop, Arseholes, Chelsea SSR, and Rottenham. I can't stand the sight of them. All they need to do for me to despise them is exist. I love that they hate us. It's a sure sign of our success.

I doubt they really give a fuck, this is all boardroom games by greedy bastards who will do anything to keep their cash cow alive.

It's best to burn the whole cunting thing down and start again IMHO, I couldn't care less if we don't have the premier league or the European twats anywhere near our club ever again.

Maybe not and it's a personal viewpoint I know, but there's nothing I'd love more than for certain other clubs to have an investigation similar to we've had to go through. That would probably result in them all shutting up a little!

Found guilty is not strictly accurate. It has been reported in a dishhonest way. UEFA is not a criminal investigation service. The Investigation Chamber, which contained at least two people who were overtly hostile to City, one of whom leaked evidence to the media, ruled we had breached their internal rules. There was no suggestion of any law breaking. They issued a sanction but it was always subject to appeal.

If only that could happen but we do KNOW what will happen. If the decision comes back that the only thing we have been found guilty of is overcharging parking we'd still be counted/classed as and remarked as as cheats by the red top clubs and their sycophantic friends in the press and the touristy fan bases.

The only solution has to be...

We called it a Scoresheet when I was doing it, but that was more than 40 years ago.

I'll tell you one thing, if the PL are seriously going for filing mis-stated accounts that don't show a true and fair view they would need a serious "Scoresheet" / SUM in the order of the high tens of millions a year as it will be assessed annually, not cumulatively.

The only way they can do that is with Etihad and they have no chance, imho, on that one. So all good on the first tranche of allegations in my view.

Like I said - this could absolutely be based on a lack of closeness to the mechanics of the case, and indicative of the general corporate perspective on it all. Nothing more.

But it was interesting to me as, if there is an assumption that the results have either dropped already to the relevant parties - or are about to drop - there was no sense of conciliation or acceptance of City’s position in the comments.

Yeah his point doesn’t make sense. Most city fans were delighted to cheer Chelsea on as they took on the red cartel while we were in lower divisions.

It’s probably why we don’t have any real rivalry with Chelsea in spite of them popping us to the champs league and a title we didn’t really compete for.

Also, taking the word of someone as gospel absolutely suggests acceptance of everything they’ve said, which included their prediction of the outcome.

So you mentioned the outcome in two distinct, albeit overlapping ways in the same sentence.

Regarding your first paragraph, I know that, I was responding to another post.

The CAS ruling is certainly persuasive. The PL have different rules but I would be stunned if the charges aren't founded on the same evidence UEFA had when they charged us.

City will certainly have submitted the CAS verdict as evidence and it provides significant weight to our arguments, because they've been accepted before. A different set of rules, but fundamentally the arguments on both sides are the same.

Look I don't give a flying fuck what other fans think, if the tribunal clears of all the substantive charges I'm having a party. Let other folk think what they want to, it should be immaterial to us.
