PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The new rules on tightening up time allocation were in respect of Section X arbitrations were they not, where the parties choose the arbitrators? This is a Section W disciplinary procedure, so it's the fucking PL who chose the panel members (well, their "independent" panel chairman - who they appointed - cough, cough) so surely they can't have a problem with that?
It just seems odd that the timescales were not discussed properly in advance with the panel who are being paid by the hour. The stakes are huge in this case. It could essentially destroy our club if we lose. Yet the panel members are presumably not focused entirely on this case because they have other gigs going on at the same time. It just smells of another huge fuck-up by the senior people at the PL.

Of course not,but over the course of this whole investigation into City, could it possibly transpire that there is evidence of collusion between clubs and premier league (with these emails and other documents that city’s team requested apparently from the premier league)how is that dealt with in regards to the charges against City and if it is a possibility..
Perhaps charges should now be made against the Teflon Dons at Spurs, Arsenal, LFC, MUFC.

Just had a DM from Khaldoon insisting that, because I started the thread, I'll receive the inside information first and he's asked me to pass it onto everyone in here. I'm away in Greece on an all inclusive though, I'll check my messages every few days for you guys and let you know if he says anything. Cheers.
All inclusive?
Posh twat :)

No argument there :)

A bloody year to write this up and deliver the outcome is more than enough time. Its at the point now where i feel this is a catastrophic finding for one party and i can only hope that's the PL.

If we “lost” the whole case ie every charge it would undoubtedly be pretty heavy, BOQ.

But let’s have it right, if we only “lost” on, say the Mancini charges, it essentially would be neither here nor there and definitely wouldn’t destroy they club.

Yes I prefer to be right (not to be "seen as" right - to be right) - everyone professing to have knowledge on the topic should strive to do the same. And I also don't like people misleading other fans or simply telling them what they think they want to hear. So yes I strive to be right - if I say something is FACT, it is because I am totally confident it is true. I am careful to proviso things I don't know to be fact.

Perhaps some others should show more care.

You fundamentally misunderstand what I have been told, by who and from where. A number of contacts with direct understanding of the situation have independently corroborated the situation. There is no concept of coordination or telling me what I want to hear because none of those parties are aware of other conversations I am having. Furthermore, there is nothing I want to hear - if the parties have had the decision for 6 months, so be it. Why do I care. But they simply haven't.

But even if none of the above was true, the actual lead KC told everyone here what the situation was about 10 days ago. You don't need to speculate at that point. And there is no possibility Pannick would lie or mislead. His reply was unequivocal. Just fucking accept it.

Nb: I consider your reply close to trolling but you successfully baited me into a reply. Well done

:) Fair enough. The confirmation of your understanding of the situation is noted. Again.

Tbf, and fwiw, I did say I think you are probably right.

It's just the absolute certainty and the dismissal of anyone else's input that rankles. It happens a lot on here, and in the wider world, these days.

Some while back it was said ( on here ) that after the announcement that won't be the end of things because the loser was bound to appeal , I wonder if the delay now is due to a kind of arbitration going on in the background so that when the announcement does come it will really be the end of the matter ( hopefully ! ! )
I thought that City said that they were not going to appeal the decision?
So if there is an appeal it would come from the PL side.
This is why I am confident City will prevail.

We've never said that.
I think Pep said we would accept the decision but not sure that should be taken literally.

If we lose on the main charges we will definitely appeal as we would have nothing to lose

Yes, you are correct about it being Pep who said that.
I presumed that he was speaking for the club.
Notwithstanding, I still believe that City will prevail.

They might not know the decision, but surely the lawyers who were in the hearing have a good idea of the outcome? I.e the PL’s evidence was thrown out or called baseless. Journos who report on Supreme Court trials always have a fairly sure idea which way it’ll fall just hearing the judges questioning.

If the panel are writing it up does that mean they know the decision, yes they do as they are the only ones who have heard all the evidence. Unless they are dealing with each charge individually and writing it as they deal with each one or they have considered every charge and writing it up after deciding on each one. Whichever way they must be at least halfway through the charges by now, hopefully, so will have an indication where the decision and who it favours is at. What does make me smile is all the people getting their knickers in a twist on here if someone queries their guesswork which is what every single poster on here is doing, guessing. I see the thread now as a light a entertainment/comedy sitcom, some posters from Corrie, some from Emmerdale and one or two Hyacinth Buckets, pronounced Bouquets, amoungst the luminaries.
If this post is boring it is meant to be as I am killing time waiting for a bus to the MREH so I can see clearly whats happening. ;-)
