Most of those debts will be due to agreed payment schedule for a player. If they missed a payment when it was due, they would be banned from new transfers till it was paid off.
What happens to ffp if a payment is missed, I’m not sure but I think the due sum would be accounted for in the calculation.

I was thinking along those lines.
I'm surprised some team hasn't kicked up a stink about being owed money.

I think you can book the full sum to be received in the next set of accounts regardless of any payment plan. Presumably (I'm no accountant) Barcelona can enter it when each payment is made? That can help both sides. If they default of course, that's where it all goes tits up.

The PL rulebook is ignored by most member clubs most of the time. The organisation has become totally corrupted under Masters' tenure. It remains to be seen if independent regulation will make any difference. The way City have been treated in this saga is a disgrace. But no one will be held accountable.

I am pretty sure (without checking back) that they demanded that the UEFA sanction should happen before the Appeal decision.

Don't see how it would effect FFP directly but it might impact cashflow.

Don’t ask me why…….its a mad corrupt world,especially if you’re bound by rules of clubs who play in RED………..sorry to the DECENT clubs who play in red.
