It definitely was a cognitive function test. Doctors do not, ever, give people an IQ test, as it is completely unrelated to any medical condition. The ONLY diagnosis it can give is, in fact, your IQ.
Whilst the world surely knows this, the Donald’s description of the ‘test’ should have confirmed it to all but those unwilling to hear.

What he’s describing is the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, which is a 10 minute assessment designed to identify signs of dementia. Now, there’s absolutely no reason he shouldn’t have taken it and, if there are no signs of dementia, no reason why he shouldn’t just say what it was. Thing is, I’ll bet he just can’t remember…
