*Plugs in racing rig*

*PS5 disintegrates*
Pretty much plus I run five monitors off my pc for the sim rig so that’s the ps5 straight out.

I’d be putting the ps5 in the lounge for lazy gaming sat on a comfy sofa although I rarely get the time these days to do anything not change related.

I’d hold out pal ps6 2026/27
Not a chance of a ps6 in 2026. At the absolute earliest, Christmas 2027 but more likely 2028.

There is just no need for a new console right now, the leap forward would be the smallest its ever been, the console would cost a fortune, the ps5 is still selling well, there are still many millions on ps4, we are only just starting to see support for that console wind down. There's big 1st party dev teams that havent even released a game on ps5 yet and even when the ps6 is out, Ps5 will get the same games long in to the 2030's.

Been playing a lot of ARC Raiders since it release on Thursday.
It's the first extraction shooter I've played and I feel like I've waited for just the right one to jump in.

I've never played a game as immersive as this before and the time just flies by especially when I'm doing well on it.

I tried the server slam and it just wasn’t for me, getting a load of gear then someone killing you before you can get out, like the Division dark zone so frustrating.

It's quality mate, game looks stunning the sound effects and atmosphere are top class. The gunfights are really good too, and playing the odd solo run makes it feel like a completely different game too. Can't fault it, just hope it has enough to keep me interested in the long term but for 30 quid it's well priced.

It's disheartening when it happens but that's the game. It's Snakes & Ladders, you just got to make sure you land on the ladder more often. It takes multiple setbacks to stop me but that's only from having just one... more... game... or I'll be back to needing to use free loadouts. Third person multiplayer games have never appealed to me (Gears, The Division) but I made an exception for PUBG console and this game.

Playing on PC using Sennheiser HD 560s. I recommend the DTS Sound Unbound app. I like it for COD, BF6 and ARC. Solo and Night Raids are all I need. I've mainly played the Dam and Ruined City maps. The devs are adding a 5th map this month as well as a bunch of other content throughout Nov/Dec.

Had a few hours with FM26 and it does take a bit of getting used to of you are a FM veteran. Things are in different places and the UI feels very intrusive.

Also odd that, as far as i can tell, there is no easy way to switch off mens or women's teams, you have to select and deselect them all individually, which is a slight problem for anyone wanting to run lots of leagues and only interest in say the men's game, as unless you work through the settings individually you've having to sacrifice processing power for more obscure mens leagues in favour of having the women's leagues in play. It has a workaround, just not intuitive. It's like insisting that you have to load every European league in previous version of FM, when you only want certain select ones.

City aren't actually that great on FM26 which feels weird. Nico o Reilly is light-years behind skally at Arsenal, Tijani is a championship level player and Cherki doesn't quite seem to have ethe ceiling he has in reality.

But the match engine is an improvement, previous tactics don't fully work and , once there are a few quality of life fixes, it could be a good restart of the series.

That said, I have just gone out and bought Age of Wonders 4 with the money saved from dropping my humble choice subscription, so I will be on that more than FM I imagine.

Been a bit of a shit storm at Rockstar at the minute. Ex employees have been protesting outside of Rockstar accusing them of union busting and firing staff who try to join a union whereas Rockstar have accused ex staff of leaking information about GTA VI and gross misconduct which lead to their sacking

Delays were inevitable

It was actually “leaking” ‘business information’ to unions about the shit they were having to put up with.

The only shock would be if that is the final delay. 2027 looks a safer bet.

My wild prediction is that gta 6 will be shit. Its just taken too long to make and games move on quickly. What might have felt innovative at the start of development will now feel out dated as newer and better things have been established by other titles in the mean time and if they go back in and change thing constantly, they'll never see a release.

That's not to say it will flop though, it will undoubtedly be the single biggest and most successful form of entertainment in history.

Doubt it, RDR2 still blows 99% of games out of the water in scope and execution and this is going to be a huge leap from that.
