Oct 28th 61 day after i was born we got beat 4-1 at Wolves.
Next game we were at home v West Ham.Our man called Dobing scored a hat trick but they scored 5.
I wasn’t on the Kippax wall.

From what I recall as a young lad, Peter Dobing was a very good player. In a better team than City's at that time he could have been a star.

He scored 22 in that season and 9 the next then was gone.Don’t recall him..Oakes was playing and Young,Dowd and Pardoe on the bench my early memories start with them.
 
Believe it or not I was born during half time of a game.
3:55pm on Saturday 15/2/64. We lost 4-3 at Charlton in the old Second Division. Their winner was a late Derek Kevan own goal - I’ve got the Pink from that evening that my dad made a point of saving for me!
