Next game we were at home v West Ham.Our man called Dobing scored a hat trick but they scored 5.

From what I recall as a young lad, Peter Dobing was a very good player. In a better team than City's at that time he could have been a star.

Believe it or not I was born during half time of a game.
3:55pm on Saturday 15/2/64. We lost 4-3 at Charlton in the old Second Division. Their winner was a late Derek Kevan own goal - I’ve got the Pink from that evening that my dad made a point of saving for me!

Yes was at the game won the League that season,also that photo that pops up a lot of the old Coronation street cast was filmed at the Old scoreboard end that afternoon.
