cops battered them to a pulp......City were searching for them all over but cops kept us apart mostly. Others may have come across them. I don't know anyone who got battered by them. Spurs did worse. Chelsea too back in the day.
I got arrested over this, acquitted in court. There were reading, qpr, chelsea and Millwall fans amongst the cockneys.

Did you come across any of them outside? All I saw was scrapping and stand offs with dibble.
I was on crimewatch and arrested with Dawn raids even though I had an appointment in the afternoon. I was alleged to have thrown missiles, my video expert had better equipment than the police and shown the court the missile came from behind me.
On the day i just walked back the my mates car, seen the big gathering of city fans at the bottom of the street outside of the north stand, I just carried on walking.

Got a first hand account from a Millwall fan who came up that day a few years back . Said it was one of the hardest away days he could remember, him and a group got chased through the alleyways . Described it as mayhem . I know it was lively coming out at the end .
