To this day the only “evidence” of wrongdoing by City in the public domain is the handful of emails published in Der Spiegel. That evidence was comprehensively rejected by CAS. So either (a) he has a thorough understanding of that evidence and can advance cogent reasons why CAS was wrong law to reject UEFAs case, or (b) he’s full of shit.

You can test which it is by asking whether he has access to evidence that CAS didn’t (he doesn’t) or why CAS was wrong.

I get the impression that he’s in the “everyone knows” camp but you never know.

Was there any 'evidence' at all?

Weren't the iffy ones spliced together...spliced together that we'd assume UEFA saw and either thought CAS were shit like they were and wouldn't notice or they ultimately didn't care as they'd fucked with our reputation anyway.

A very good mate of mine won’t let it drop. He’s well-adjusted, amenable, chilled out, intelligent… we went out for a meal not long ago as he was passing through Birmingham and had a good old natter and catch up about life in general. But when the subject of City comes up it’s like Jekyll and Hyde - you can feel the bile from the other end of the chat group. He is so convinced we are cheats and guilty and deserve the book being thrown at us. Every loss or draw, he’s crowing in our Whatsapp group. Even when I was complaining about Solanke’s first goal at the weekend being a foul, the response was “City have unashamedly and blatantly broken FFP rules for years so it’s only fair really.” I mean, where do you even start?

I’m at the stage now where I don’t care if we’re guilty as sin, I just want it over with.

I wonder if our owners knew at the start of this witch-hunt it could take at least 3 years. Did they consider the effect it would have on us City fans? (To be fair perhaps they think one sentence about it from the chairman during the seasons review is enough).

Any good “mate” of mine would only get one opportunity to crow about City in regard to this nonsense.

It just seems a bit of an odd statement.
You skip around if you originally thought you'd sailed close to the wind and there was a little bit of something to pin on us but if you think you're completely innocent, and we are absolutely, then you just get on with things, which incidentally seems to be what is happening at the club.

Does anyone feel like the club should be doing more ? One statement about irrefutable evidence and not much more from khaldoon at the end of season updates …. It just feels hard on us fans that have to suffer.

It’s the rest of premier who wanted us to be investigated that signed letter by Arsenal put pressure on premier who obliged! All because they thought we were cheating

It's nearly 3 years since the charges were dropped and over 7 years since Der Spiegel originally published the emails. Were you expecting weekly updates perhaps?
