Stuart Pearce has just been on Celebrity Mastermind answering questions on Punk Rock 1976-1979. He was excellent and got 9 questions right (I got 6).
He also beat me in the General Knowledge round (I am educated to postgraduate level).

Sorry PinkFinal it's been a while since I've been on this thread. Did you go to the Albert Hall to see The Damned the other week? I didn't bother getting tickets (don't particularly like the venue) but after hearing the Covers LP I wish I had!

Good to hear. I've got Wembley tickets too. I don't think it will be a comprehensive as the Royal Albert Hall gig unless it carries on until the early hours of the next day!
Went to absolutely loads in that era so I can’t say for sure but the Damned with the Ruts supporting at the old Russell Club was one with Rat Scabies paralytic pretty much at the Bar before they went on
