Oh and Bondi was Trump’s second choice as AG. He wanted Matt Gaetz but couldn’t get him because…he was in a child prostitution and trafficking scandal.

US politics has descended into madness 2.
Kristie Noem and her number2 (reputed to be her lover) had to change planes due to a technical fault. It transpired that Noem’s blanket had not been transferred, so they sacked the Coast Guard pilot on the spot. They soon realised they were stranded as there was no other pilot available. So they re-engaged the pilot they had just sacked.

I was so wrong. If anything that motivated them to be even worse and disavow everything even more just to stick it to the libs who would dare put a black guy in the White House.

The US can't really be saved.. maybe the blue states can but you run into everyone that says that's treasonous and led upto the Civil War before.. states thinking of themselves and not the union.

I'll say this though as someone who has lived outside the US extensively.. I would honestly live as an expat than be here if they take away my healthcare which they are trying very hard to do.

Right now I can't leave due to elderly family but the day will arrive soon where either we'll have medicare for all or I'll leave since it's cheaper to pay for healthcare overseas than it is here.

Heck I know neighbors who didn't want to have a triple bypass here.. they went to India and had it done for a fraction of the price.

The DoJ has released a list of people they say are made politically vulnerable by the Epstein files. The list includes inter alios Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Janis Joplin who died when Epstein was 17.

Many in US politics see the EU as a threat to them and have been actively pursuing the break-up of an alliance that has a huge global economic standing.

Starting point, the UK.
 
Anyone else get the impression that the FBI investigation into the kidnapping of Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy Guthrie, is incompetent? Not entirely their fault... but the fault of the Trump administration at large?

Numerous missteps (IMO) have occurred, as follows:
1) Nancy Guthrie had a Google Nest doorbell camera installed. Video footage was available in spite of Nancy not subscribing to the Nest service. OK... whatever. But once the kidnapping actually occurred, there was a sizeable delay before Nest produced the video footage.

This is inexcusable. If Nest actually has relevant video on any crime, they should be forced to reveal it to law enforcement authorities immediately.

2) OK... big delay... the FBI gets the video image. And fuck me! Some totally masked dude is on camera. Nothing that's going to help the investigation.

Nonetheless... under Trump... the FBI basically says, look for this guy - based on our expert analysis of the available video footage and an expert sketch artist.

Fuck me... the FBI was slow to discover the Nest camera footage, and unfortunately, the footage is basically unusable (yes the footage can probably glean the perpetrator's approximate height)... and then, boom, there's a fucking sketch of the perpetrator that everyone should look for... FFS;

3) The gloves... investigators discovered a pair of gloves during their initial search of Nancy's outdoor property. For sure, possibly relevant. And yet, 3 weeks later, there's an announcement that the FBI are conducting a DNA analysis of the gloves... WTF... why didn't this occur, on day, fucking one!!!
