TV Series

Started 12 Monkeys based on recommendations on here and finished Series 1. Its good but my god it gets confusing at times. I think at times it flicks between time frames so quickly its hard at times to figure out which timeline is interacting with which timeline. Will power on with series 2.
Started the film of this the other day.

Utter wank. Bruce Willis and his “acting” only exacerbated the wankness. Fucked it off after 5 minutes.

Is the tv series equally as wank?

To be fair, I've never known why the film seemed so chopped up.

Maybe there's a director's cut somewhere?

The show, though, goes into depth and it's so much better for it.

If you like medical dramas The Pitt is a great show. It is incredibly fast paced tense and dramatic. The top show in the US. Trouble is it won’t arrive in the uk for ages so you need a highly illegal stream to watch it.

There are lots of posts from 2022-2023 reviewing Yellowjackets. It's now on ITVX and I started watching it this week. It's worth a look.

Actually thoroughly enjoyed the film, so this might be one for me .

Just binge watched (which I very rarely do) Amazon Prime's Steal. It started off pretty well, and then slid progressively into silliness and implausibility.
Anybody else find that there's a recurrent tendency for many series to do that? I firmly felt the same about the first series of The Last of Us, to the point that I have never bothered to watch the second series.

“It started off pretty well, and then slid progressively into silliness and implausibility”.

Sounds like most women.
