Greater Israel can't ever exist and its more an anti-semetic conspiracy theory (with all due respect). The entire region and world would turn on them if Israel tried to implement it, and frankly, many of our Government say badly worded or out of context statements all the time but they're not considered official policy.

Israel wants to protect itself. Yes, they do horrendous shit to achieve that goal, but they're not an imperialist force that is trying to conquer countries. They're cunts, but not that type of cunts. The state of Israel is bad under Bibi because their doctrine has become "survive at all cost", not "expand at all costs". There's a moral difference there. I do feel sorry for the many thousands who flew out to the UAE last Wed/Thu/Fri for a holiday, and are now basically stuck through no fault of theirs.

There's plenty of brits who work out there too, my daughter in law's sister is one, and you could just get unlucky with a missile or drone, or even a destroyed missile or drone, can't imagine it's much fun, and this time last week nobody really knew this shitstorm was coming, yes there were hints, but I don't think any of these countries thought they'd become targets of Iran, other than military bases anyway.

That's the one, although the bigger issue is not just the cost but also the fact they only make 600 a year, used 25% of the total stockpile in last years war, and rely on Chinese supply lines to keep making them.

The USA just can't afford this kind of warfare long term. Feels like the options are (1) rope in the rest of the world, which seems unlikely, (2) Put boots on the ground, (3) this is over in 2 weeks with Iran weakened but fundamentally unchanged.

I've read a couple of times that the US/Israel only has a stockpile of 4-7 days worth of the required missiles, so sounds like it could be legit (on major news sites). I guess we'll find out very soon if that's right or not.

There is absolutely zero evidence to your assertion that Iran was days away from having nuclear weapons. The only people who have said so are the same people who claimed last year to have completely obliterated Iran's capacity to produce nuclear weapons in the foreseeable future, and who have already had their other claims (like Iran was about to attack the US) disproven by their own intelligence agencies (The Pentagon confirmed there was no intelligence suggesting a pre-emptive attack was coming). Ie proven liars.

Not to mention, the burden on proof is on THEM. If Trump/Israel had any evidence it would be front and centre of every news channel in the world because it would have justified this war.

At a certain point it becomes clear you're arguing in bad faith and choosing to believe what you want to.

In fairness, the interviewer brought that up and he was non-commital but friendly (as you always are with journos). This doesn't represent evidence of a belief imo.

I don't like Bibi and think he's a little of his rocker, trying the Thatcher Falklands strategy for domestic politics, but I'm not going to call him a Nazi imperialised based on him being polite in a broadcast interview.

No but the the nation independent inspectors who are experts in the field have been and their conclusion was that, with some caveats that Iran attempted to answer, Iran was not attempting to build a nuclear weapon
