Can someone help me: I was told a joke years ago but I can't recall it - something to do with how Rod Hull (Emus 'owner') fell off a roof trying to get his TV tuned in for a Champions league final, so it was something to do with Hull going down/Europe....

Whatever you thought of the humour (I loved it; Mrs Vienna hated it, you have to admire how Rod could control Emu.

The rags were playing, and losing, in Europe and he couldn’t get a picture, so he went up on the roof to try and fix the aerial.

IIRC the ‘joke’ was about Hull going down and the rags going out of Europe on the same night.
