PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Here is an idea why not stay and try and make the country which basically made them better

All of them have been educated here no doubt, free health care etc

But no they fuck off because of money even though by the sounds of it they are all still doing ok
When a country is paying out more in benefits than it raises in income tax then there is a major problem. Its no wonder that people have lost faith in the governments ability to make things better. Why would anyone choose to stay at the moment, lets see the government put its working people first.

Sure this is a conversation for elsewhere (off topic), but we have a few issues - the super wealthy pay very good tax lawyers to reduce their tax burdens for some that runs into the £millions saved in by spending a few hundred thousand on lawyer fees. We have large corporations that pay very little tax due to whatever agreements they have with the government. I'm sure the Royal Family pay no tax on their supposed income. Then on the other hand we have a thought process where it is more beneficial to take government aid via welfare than working (generalisation). People can't afford to live on minimum wage. The country doesn't have enough work for people.

We in the middle are screwed, pay shit loads of tax and still skint

I saw a comment at Goal.com that asked why Hjulmand would want to come to City, just to play in League One. I thought I should post my reply here, in the hope that it will brighten a fellow Blue's day:

"Exoneration on 130 charges incoming. You are in for a most disappointing surprise. Why on Earth do you think it's taken so long for the decision to be determined and announced? The PL has suffered a comprehensive loss on this gambit and will delay the announcement for as long as it can. Unfortunately for the PL, the committee is a professional one composed of high-level jurists who know the law inside and out.

The longer the PL can drag this out, the more damage it hopes to inflict on City, which was the sole purpose in bringing these charges. The PL knew all along it had little or no case against City, but viewed this as an exercise in reputational damage and to hinder City in the transfer market. That is why it larded up the docket by taking 6 or 7 basic charges and inflating them to 130. After the verdict is announced, don't be surprised if City files a massive lawsuit against the PL to effect discovery, so that it can obtain all confidential PL communications in regard to this. This should provide the evidence needed to sustain City's claims. If the other PL clubs are shocked and dismayed at the cost of legal representation they've shouldered thus far, just wait until they have to pay out a half-billion £ to settle a losing lawsuit. With any luck, that will spell the end of the corrupt PL so that a new and fair entity can replace it."

State Pensions cost 50% of the income tax revenue so that’s not that surprising.

40 million working age people have to support 30 million pensioners and children.
As was the same system when I started working 51 yrs ago. Just the numbers increasing create the strain

Put something into perspective, when Wanker Starmer got off his plane in Abu Dhabi he was greeted by Khaldoon , the man is a world leader , do you really think a grovelling rat like Richard Masters's is going to get the better of Khaldoon , these charges have been decided far above Master's pay grade. Wouldnt be surprised if our government have told the Premier league that these charges have to go away , because they cant afford to risk damaging the UK/Abu Dhabi relationship and U-turn Starmer needs all the friends he can get
They say football and politics should never mix , we will see when we get the outcome of these charges.

Well I am a pensioner and last year I paid a lot of tax, the amount is none of your business, and frankly your comment is an insult
So am I for more years than I care to remember.

Apologies it was written to see if the poster realised this.

State Pension is not tax free it simply takes up all your allowances if you have other income such as a second pension via civil service or a company scheme or even paid for by a person.
These are then taxed fully like normal income tax after tax code allowance deducted.

I suppose we could say that workers don't pay tax but that only applies to those who don't work enough hours etc..
