TBF it went a lot better for Starmer than I was expecting.
Can that **** leave permanently?Lee Anderson asked to leave the Chamber for the use of the word "lying", while pointing at the PM.
He was probably just showing off on the 137th anniversary of the birth of his hero.Lee Anderson asked to leave the Chamber for the use of the word "lying", while pointing at the PM.
When someone says a negative about his bloke he says bless, its odd but that's the rich tapestry of life I guess:-)
Of his many faults and indiscretions, I can't see any sort of collusion, with the Russians, being one of them.Teresa May famously limited information Boris had access to as foreign secretary.
He slipped away from his security to attend a party with his Russian mate and others.
His mate Lebedev, son of KGB agent, was appointed to HoL despite allegations that vetting raised concerns. These were never made public.
Bless:-)Haha
Don’t know what’s more fun?
Watching him flounder with lie after lie or reading his stormtroopers on here pretend nothing is happening lol
A low bar indeed.TBF it went a lot better for Starmer than I was expecting.
His inability to "read the room" is beyond amazing. He's the most unpopular PM in history - arguably one of the most unpopular people in the country, in or out of politics.he's not gonna go before the elections - that's when the knives will come out
Yet somehow you know.Teresa May famously limited information Boris had access to as foreign secretary.
He slipped away from his security to attend a party with his Russian mate and others.
His mate Lebedev, son of KGB agent, was appointed to HoL despite allegations that vetting raised concerns. These were never made public.
The weird question is - what’s he sticking around for? It’s not like he has some deeply held principles he is desperate to advance through policy. His inability to "read the room" is beyond amazing. He's the most unpopular PM in history - arguably one of the most unpopular people in the country, in or out of politics.
And yet instead of thinking ok the game is up, and going with some dignity, he is still under the illusion that he can survive this and fight the next general election.
He is almost Trump-like in his inability to recognise his own failings.
Alex Salmond was the Wayne Rooney of politics…Lammy…The Rooney of politics.
At the timeYet somehow you know.
I know this is the Starmer thread but it’s astonishing how this gets twisted by so many. Johnson didn’t resign because he misled Parliament. He resigned over the Chris Pincher business and did so because those in his own party had had enough of his lies and bullshit.Starmer was told about the red flags in September just before the Epstein scandal engulfed Mandelson.
Indeed the Independent published an article about the vetting failures at the time.

No 10 knew Mandelson failed security vetting seven months ago
The Independent put revelations that Peter Mandelson had failed MI6 vetting for the US ambassador role to Downing Street in September – but a ‘furious’ Sir Keir insists he did not know until this weekwww.independent.co.uk
Starmer has misled Parliament, and like Johnson needs to resign.
The leader of his party is a far bigger liar. And a traitor.Got his point across.
