Never witnessed a terrible City victory before , but looking at all the bullshit in the news today , it was an awful victory , and the Goons are back in control , clutching at straws me thinks

Ewood park 1995 felt like a terrible victory at the time.turned out alright in the end though as far as the title race was concerned.

I feel every game we take to the field, it's us against the system, and then we have to try and win a game of football. Winning Silverware feels like winning the World Cup its that special.

You only have to look at this thread for that. Similar reaction from half of our fans, lost count how many used the words "missed opportunity".

Hilarious when you take into account we've just gone top after being in a position a couple of weeks ago where "we can't catch them".

I think 100% of the Manchester City fans back then in 2011 would have been happy with just winning the FA cup and beating the scum in the semi-final. But now we are up to 19 trophies and counting WOW

Winning the FA cup that year was a dream and a fairytale stuff, but beating the scum in the semi-final at wembley for the first time, a Manchester derby played at Wembley, and Mario giving it large to Rio. That is set in stone in the history books, so take that you rags cunts

Nothing ‘shite’ about it, we’ve clawed back the 9pt gap in a fortnight or so and gone TOP!!!

I think there's plenty shite about only scoring once from an XG of 3.54 against a team about to be relegated. it's not like we were facing great defenders and a top class goalkeeper.

Just got round to watching it back. Sorry, but that second half is purely and simply energy conservation football. That is what they're doing, especially in midfield. They didn't play badly, they didn't play well. They played to save energy, full stop. They must have been pretty shattered after Sunday and they thought, “Fuck this, we're giving ourselves a bit of a rest”. The only two who had a bit of sweat on their brow were Erling, who did make quite a few runs, and Bernie, of course, because when have we seen Bernie not run in a match?
Pep looked properly pissed off for the last twenty minutes and at final whistle. When he seized Bernardo's arm so as to not let him walk away, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was saying something along the lines of “Those were not the instructions I gave you lot. You're the captain, you should have bollocked the others.”

No other club has achieved what we have in so short a time, and we're still going.

FFS get over it. Trying to play at 100mph all the time is partly why Arsenal can't win the title. Get to this stage every season and they've burnt themselves out. It's why Pep has won so much at this club, he knows how to pace the season. We have 5 more cup finals to come (and another one at Wembley hopefully).

In the meantime on current form Arsenal are highly unlikely to win their last 5 matches. In fact you could make a case for them not winning any of them the way they've been playing for the last few weeks.

Some people believed it. Probably @LangleyBlue1970 and @RayCTID. BUT...go back 27 years...not everyone believed we'd beat Gillingham as they walked out of wembley/the pub.

Some of us sat there numb at 93:19.

Some of us suffered through the whole of 90's with dickhead united friends taking the piss.

Some of us haven't got the incredible and bizarre faith in a club that was a basket case for near on 3 decades...that doesn't mean we don't love the club and the fans...but faith is a funny thing.

What's funny is the people who are so positive now are also the ones that remind us what a fuck up we were for the first 3/4 of my life and that's why we should be happy now.

However.....................beating United in that FA CUP final, me and my son hugging a hug that would make the whole world happy...well that was the pinnacle of my life - and i'm thankful for that moment alone.
