Southampton fans coming out today

Not being funny fella do you Spend a lot of time looking at peoples footware lol

I do hope we get the Yorkshire hordes,

But that is inviting trouble,

One thing for them they have a uncanny hatred of the Noisey Neighbours,
Final is a different kettle of fish because whoever loses will go straight after the match. Very much doubt Leeds will hang around to watch us lift a trophy and most blues I know would have no intention of watching them lift one.

(I did watch Palace lift the cup last year, but that's because I'd never seen a cup lift in the flesh unless it was us).

I remember the semi final against Chelsea the year we lost to Wigan. I was in a shop near the stadium buying a drink when it kicked off outside. The shopkeeper pulled the shutters down for 10 minutes. This is what happens when 90,000 all leave the ground at the same time. There are bound to be some nobheads looking for trouble, and when everyone's on Wembley Way at the same time it's easier to find it.

Had a horrible experience in a McDonald’s about 10 miles from Wembley.

Was just my wife, 2 young boys and myself and about 8 stone island wearing Southampton fans came in starting talking about how shit city fans are etc and just being unpleasant.

I did bite back unfortunately and said would you lot take 30k twice a year to old Trafford at £70 a pop and how it was city’s 33rd visit.

Ended up calling my wife fat and telling her to fuck off. Regrettably I didn’t hear them say that until I got back to the car but decided against going back in. Feel bad/guilty about the whole thing tbh. Ruined a lovely day
Hi mate. I’m autistic and ADHD as well and get where you are coming from with the over analysing - scourge of my life. So I won’t say “oh just ignore it” I find it really hard not to react to injustice and unfairness, and I’m fine with people having a go at me, but it’s a different subject and reaction when friends or family are abuse or attacked. I think it’s a good thing’s you didn’t hear the comment about your wife and its brilliant for your wife and children that you didn’t go back in - it would have hurt your family more than yourself if you would had gotten filled in, not to mention the bad example set to the kids. So well done - you did the right thing. If I were you I’d just concentrate today on how sad they are today with their little chavie sad lives and how you are in the sunshine with your lovely family - plus we won and they didn’t ;) You’re by far the winner in this situation and have nothing to feel guilty about

Our end had a whole swathe of empty blocks opposite where I was (523-526), and the two blocks next to the one I was in (506) were pretty sparse (more expensive than the block I was in). The club wembley seats were probably less than 50% full.
It’s not really surprising that our end didn’t sell out.

A visit to Wembley is no longer the novelty it was for us in 2011.
We were there for the League Cup final just a few weeks ago.
Tickets aren’t cheap, even for a semifinal.
The cost of travel to Wembley isn’t exactly negligible. It’s about 200 miles each way. That’s not a short distance.
And if you want to stay over, there’s accommodation to find, which also isn’t cheap.

Been following there thread for the game against us. Before hand it was all Peps a gentleman, great team, fans deserve the success they've had etc. Soon as the final whistle went it was all 130 charges, bought the tittles, fans are twats etc.

We only took 25,000 to Wembley on our 33rd visit.
Southampton support can’t muster 3,000 for a visit to the Etihad once per year

Yes fully aware of that, and I didn't do the 40 mile round trip a few weeks ago, as I pointed out City will be doing 3 trips in 3 months.

Town full of rags
...and dippers.

I was about to add that when I posted but, it was a long time ago and I wasn't certain that after all the moaning they still didn't sell out.
They didn't just moan about it. They refused to accept a smaller allocation so that more of our supporters could attend the last game at Maine rd.
Then the cunts didn't sell out.

It’s actually quite a rough town, certainly by Home Counties’ standards. Not as rough as Portsmouth though.
Been to theirs about 7 times over the years, always something occurring before or after. Lived there whilst in Army in 80's too. Lively times even apart from the football.

Daughter lives in London and went on her own as we were at a wedding yesterday. She'd left her recent home shirt at ours so wore a old/retro one.
Some younger blues gave her shit on the tube because they didn't recognise the shirt!
We have a few but opposition big bollocks come latelys are particularly annoying.

What was she wearing....shirt I mean.

When these smaller clubs, that don’t have big days out as much as the likes of City, end up at Wembley, they get loads of hangers on. The hangers on are usually locals who either support Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal and have Southampton as their 2nd club, or they only support Southampton but don’t usually go that often.

They see the big day out as a piss up and the chance to have a pop at the opposition. Some of them probably got carried away scoring late to make it 1-0 too, only to suffer two late goals and losing.

I’d hazard a guess the majority of Southampton fans being wankers yesterday won’t be season ticket holders.

When we played Wigan a few years back and they beat us at their place (when one of them ran on and kicked off with Aguero) most of their "fans" were in rag and Liverpool shirts walking around the ground
