PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Adrian Durham take a bow
Good point:

“So Wrexham, for example. When the owners of Wrexham came in and injected abnormal amounts of money into a non-league club, where there were no rules down there by the way, they’re seen as cool and heroic, and it’s a great story, and there’s a Hollywood blockbuster ending."

'Interesting' input from the write of the article, though!?

Durham went as far as to list ‘five worse crimes than City’s charges’. As you will soon gather, they are pretty ridiculous and peak with Burnley catching strays simply for being quite sh*t.

“Liverpool raising ticket prices. Chelsea’s owners having no respect for their fans with the way they run the club. Arsenal’s time-wasting tactics killing football entertainment. Burnley’s pathetic effort which they claim is an attempt to stay up every other season. VAR, PGMO should be charged for spoiling the fans’ enjoyment,” Durham added.

Whilst good points well made ;)

Durham should have said

Liverpool shirt sponsors are a money laundering bank.
Chelsea guilty of off the book payments and got a ridiculous light fine.
Utd using Red Football ltd books to get around psr.
Arsenal using illegal owner free loans.

I can think of a few worse crimes the red cartel have committed.

If anyone's interested in 3,000 words of analysis on what reasons may lie behind the length of time being taken for the Panel in the PL and MCFC case to issue its judgment, The Lawyer magazine has just published this piece: Where is the Manchester City judgment? Eight possible scenarios

Not able or willing to respond myself to questions on here concerning this article. Maybe someone else will be, but that's up to them.

To sum up this piece, the highest probabilities are that the judges are either still deciding, have been called to other cases which has delayed them (is a similar scenario to the above) or are in discussions about releasing the judgement at the best time (ie end of the season).

I had a quick scan but it doesn't seem to have said any more than has been speculated on here by various people at various times.

TLDR: Nobody knows
