Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

It’s all a bit daft really. You pass on something someone has told you because you think it’s relevant to the thread. Before you know it’s been screen shotted and all over Twitter. People acting like I’ve said it will 100% definitely happen, rather than just passing on what I’d heard. Then Liam Gallagher replies to it and all hell breaks loose! Seeing people on there saying I personally started the rumours that Matheus Nunes has cancer, which is fucking ridiculous. At least it’s served as a reminder why I binned Twitter off!
TBF, you could not have expected your post not to have been relayed on Twitter / X.

Yeah stay off of Twatter.

Bsky filters out a lot of people who just care about being in a constant shit show/ food fight for clicks.

And here's a good starter link for which City accounts to follow on bsky:
That said I mostly still post here.

It really wasn’t in my mind when I posted it tbh.

Just post something funny like what I said rather than ITK.

Whatever will be will be.. hope Pep extends for another decade..

Btw it is interesting how all this shit happens just as we get good or have a chance at the title.

Rigged refs/ PGMOL calls/ 115/ Pep leaving.. the media and the powers that be have tried to hit us with everything to get Pep to leave.

I hope pep is staying like most but posting with good intentions is always risky with the inevitable blowback. X is a mental asylum that is fun for 10 min until you scroll too far…

Pep doesn’t look like a man ready to leave but maybe he has made the decision and is ok with it now. Would explain the stress this season??? Actually deciding to leave.

The club will survive. Pep will survive and we can all still disagree about it. It will be a huge blow not to see pep in the dugout. No point pretending otherwise but move on we must if and that’s a big if that the rumour is true. Not having a dig but these rumours are persist all season. I suppose one time it will be true.

I never said you didn’t, I wasn’t involved, but to be fair you were in no uncertain terms telling posters they were wrong about Pep leaving. In fact you put a few posters down. You went out there, all I am asking is do you stick with your posts over the last few days, or do you except you might have it wrong?

If it’s confirmed Pep’s going i’ll be sure to come back here and take the piss out of all those weirdos who were desperate for him to leave!

I`ve said it before and I`ll say it again,Pep will see out his contact as a minimum and I still expect a further one year extension until 2027/28.
Why do I sound confident ?? Pep usually honours his contracts and IMO this is one of the reasons why we will secure the services of our top target this summer from Forest. He will join City based on Pep being here for at least one more season and beyond.
You heard it hear first and I stand by my post.
This is NOT a WUM but my confidence in Pep and his loyalty towards both the Club, our Owner and Khaldoon.

There’s little point in me adding to the noise. The club’s point of view hasn’t changed for the last six months and there’s a reason why nobody has actually written this supposedly public knowledge story. I’d expect if anyone in the media actually had a real reputable source saying it’s decided. They’d write it.
Hope you’re right Ahsan, I truly do, but it feels like it’s got legs this time.

On a side note, I think the reaction of the Chelsea players, however out of order the public nature of it was, says a lot about Maresca.

If he is to come here in the summer, hopefully he can get the same relationship out of a much more talented group of players.

Nobody wants Pep to leave, but nobody can provide a name for a guaranteed successor that’s possible right now. We are Manchester City, not player or manager fc.

Going off the match day threads as recent as the last few weeks, it certainly isn’t unbelievable.

As for if it’s true or not. He is always going to go at some point. Be it now or in however many years, he’s been here longer than he has been at any club by a large percentage as manager. Us, City. He’s changed the face of us.

I trust the process when the change happens. I don’t even think I’ll be sad, just glad he chose to put his name to this club and change the way it was looked at and give us history.

We are in good hands
Cold fucker...

We’re in the end game either way.

If he stays we’ll only get one more year and then he’s gone.

I’d be sad if he goes now because I think he’s just built another team that will dominate, and after a World Cup isn’t great timing for a new manager, but if we were getting a manager I really rated rather than Maresca I’d probably feel differently.
