PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Verdict is due any moment now, it’s gone from imminent to very imminent to stand by your beds, lads and lassies it’s incoming!

In short, no change from every other week since the hearing wrapped up.
No, it’s basically saying that the length of time taken will cast doubt on the judgement itself and may present City, IF found guilty, with a decent appeal chance.

It’s not saying the length of time suggests a decision either way, more so that it casts doubt on the decision itself and is unacceptable given the gravity of what it means for the club and the league.

Nothing has previously leaked with regards to any of the cases vs The PL from City’s end. It’s another reason I am confident, because the Premier League cannot help themselves leaking to their cronies (Ziegler) being the main one, and if City were at serious risk of losing, we’d likely know via these leaks by now.

I don’t think PB is a bullshitter, he found out about the UEFA/CAS decision just after the club did, before the decision was announced, and told us all we’d won. So he has form for ITK credentials.

Maresca agreeing to join and Pep taking another CFG role, surely means those two individuals are confident.

Let’s see, but I think the news is coming before the World Cup. Just got a feeling, and it’s going to be a great week when it does.
Hope so mate, we need some good news with Pep now leaving.

So the delay could work in either parties benefit in terms of an appeal?

"Despite his departure as Manager of Manchester City, Pep will continue his relationship with the City Football Group, by taking up a role as a Global Ambassador. The role will see him giving technical advice to the clubs in the group, working on specific projects and collaborations."

Let’s hope we don’t pay him an extra 37p for work he might or might not have done.

Pretty much, but my amateur view on it is that I bet the PL cannot wait for this shit to be over now. I reckon they’ve been pushed into it by our rivals and they’re wishing it would go away. The latest announcement that they will do settlements before formal charges going forward is a sign of this.

I think they’d only appeal if City were strongly suggesting they’ll be coming after the leadership of the PL and I think if City win big, there will be a settlement on the side to ensure City go away and don’t come back for scalps, and that the PL top brass can continue and not be penalised.

From MCFC’s perspective, I think our side will want guarantees this will never happen again.

Ok boys and girls. Pep always said he will never leave us in a mess on this matter. There's a reason for that. He wasn't lying as he never does nor need to. News incoming after the last game.
Yeah this seems to have been overlooked lately,Pep did say if we were found guilty he’d be there/here to answer questions plus he believed the owners and what they were telling him”wait for the verdict, innocent until proven guilty”
He’d look a bit of a **** if he just fucked of now,he was ONLY ever going to leave once the verdict was known either publicly or not, think he’s been told it’s ‘good news’ rather than bad….hence his decision to do something he’s NEVER done before, not see out his contract at a club….that speaks volumes that it’s positive news….

Remember the captain(the north)near the end of the good the bad and the ugly, and how he hated that bridge that caused so many casualties on both sides,he wants the bridge gone….so Blondie and Tuco blow it up….remember the Captain, dying with a smile on his face when he hears the explosion….that bridge is the 115….and all the City fans are the Captain and that smile, obviously hopefully we’re not dead after it though ;)

He died with snow on his head - in the wild west.

I'm speculating wildly here but I've said before that I've been told the PL didn't come out of it well.

Let's say that the outcome was so bad for the PL that there's a possibility of damaging legal action against them over their conduct and of some of their member clubs. Obviously they wouldn't want that, so maybe the delay is due to the two parties trying to reach some sort of settlement outside of the 3-man tribunal. So not about the outcome itself, which was decided soon after the end of the hearing in line with PL rules, but about the potential
consequences of the outcome.

As I say, that's pure speculation but I think it's slightly more feasible than one of the panel members not being able to get a new supply of the ink cartridges they were using to write up their verdict.

Well the proceeding are meant to be in strict confidence but maybe, as I speculated above, there's a possibility of legal action. Leaks could be very damaging, or even fatal, in that scenario.
I think this is speculation/theory I could buy into
