PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If the ruling drops this week, by some amazing coincidence right at the end of the season, that would imply collusion between the three parties, would it not?

What we don’t know — among a million other things — is whether the IC has been giving estimated end dates to both us and the PL. Is it possible all three had a meeting and decided it would be best for everyone if it was released during the closed season?

Sounds like a “different” process that would have the likes of the blue dippers and Forest screaming for mummy...

That seems to be the perceived wisdom, but I am having trouble buying it. At least if it's just a question of potential subsequent sanctions: Firstly, we aren't going to get a sporting sanction, imho; Secondly, conventional wisdom is that the first stage is a liability judgment, so what is the point in delaying? (Of course, conventional wisdom has been wrong before); Thirdly, earlier panels have had no problem imposing sanctions (even sporting sanctions) mid-season.

Seems to me if the timing is being manipulated by the panel and the two parties it must be for a reason more important than just proving or not proving the allegations.

Or the 3 man panel have common sense? Or it's not dropping anytime soon.
 
No need to delay this any longer...but just a stab in the dark they maybe wont announce it till the WC is fully underway

Verdict drops...We get proven innocent, but all eyes and focus on england and the WC thus reducing the fallout

This needs to be finalised now before the new manager gets here. Otherwise he'll be getting 115 questions all though his opening press conference and onwards.

He really needs a clean start.

Part of me thinks/hopes it's all being stage managed with an announcement to actually suit us so we don't go for their arses when found not guilty.

Another part of me hopes we move the goalposts and still go for the twats.

Last part always makes me laugh because it is said so often but makes no sense.

Surely if we were going to pay them (the PL) off, we would have done it when we first heard that the charges were coming rather than endure one of the biggest smear campaigns in modern sporting history?

I get this shit all the time, but really, if we were to bribe the FA wouldn't we have done it at the time and avoid this whole circus?
