PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

TalkSport have it on good authority that the verdict is imminent. Simon Jordan and a football finance expert? (me neither) were using a lot of long words about what our owners should do next! That's the same Simon Jordan who lost his fortune by trying to run a football club giving Khaldoon advice on how what his next move should be.

City will know full well the verdict as will the premier league. I think both parties are currently trying to agree on a settlement figure that the PL need to pay City. If we had been found guilty there is no way that not a single person at the PL would not have leaked it!

Since the Premier league went public with the 115 charges, City have made only one statement saying we refute them and will fight them. The media hate the fact that we have kept a dignified silence, and they have not got a single 'insider' at City who will tell them anything!

The media know fuck all about our club, that's why they hate us, and are obsessed with calling Jack Grelish a £100m failure (despite him winning 7 trophies in 3 season).

Seriously, there's no reason to give any of these clickbait blue-tick Twitter accounts any attention. They're all just making up punishments with no basis to feed their audience.

The case hasn't been publicly spoken about and if legacy media have no insider info on this (papers have been silent about any actal details and all anyone has is hypothetical punishments in worse case scenarios) then I doubt any of these do.

Apparently it’s the FA the know nowts would have you believe punishing City. Can you imagine them reading out the results of the charges like an FA Cup draw in the 90s. Graham Kelly looking all glum faced in Lancaster Gate holding the velvet bag with 115 balls in it.

Spot on, its never a City fan who you would have thought might have a little more insider knowledge,
NOBODY outside the club , premier league and the legal teams knows anything.
 
Why do fans of the red cartel and other numpty football fans, pundits etc continue to latch onto madcap theories about City? According to Psychology Today people start to believe lies for the following reasons.
  • The Illusory Truth Effect: When a lie is repeated frequently, our brains become familiar with it, which leads us to mistake that familiarity for truth.
  • Confirmation Bias: We are highly predisposed to accept information that aligns with our pre-existing beliefs, desires, or political worldviews, while discounting contradictory facts.
  • Desire and Comfort: People often temporarily accept distortions because they offer pleasure, comfort, or hope—especially when facing difficult or stressful realities.
  • Social Conformity & Groupthink: Humans are social creatures who rely on the group for survival and belonging. People often accept the lies endorsed by their community or peers to avoid conflict or social exclusion.
  • Truth Bias: Constantly doubting everything is mentally exhausting. Because of this, humans have an innate default to assume others are telling the truth.
 
Whoever is on this panel, I trust they will never ever be responsible for another important decision ever again, because the amount of time this has taken, with no updates or explanations given for the length of time, shows how utterly inept, useless and far out of their league they are.

It is pathetic the amount of time it's taken with zero justification for it. It's bordering on scandalous.
