TV Series

Feud on netflix. Didnt expect much from a Ch5 production with Larry Lamb and Peter Barlow from Corrie. But we quite enjoyed it. Easy watch with the wife. 7/10
 
'Rick and Morty' ep2 is just really thought provoking stuff!

Ep 1 was a banger and this is in the same ball park!

Ah! I had to question why the show has found its brilliant root again and it's because Dan Harmon ('Community' writer) has returned to it now that Justin Roiland has gone! Now I know who's doing the excellent philosophical writing!
 
Started series 4 of From today. Built up 7 episodes so thought that would keep me going. Done 6 in a day and thought it was superb. I think my only frustration is having to wait another year for the last series as I really bloody want to know how they will answer all the questions.
 
Dear England - The story (part fictional of course) of England men's team from the sacking of Allardyce onwards. I'm half way through and it's far better than I expected. Fiennes as Southgate is scarily good, almost too good.

As a comic book adaptation it's almost brilliant. My only negative is the changing of the origin story as I thought the comic was way more interesting and two of the villains a bit meh.

Although, one particular delight, was seeing Nic Cage dip into his old personality bag for classic yesteryear Cage in the latter half of the show. It was f'kin great to see 'that guy' and he seemed to revel in it, too! I just don't think anyone else could have played this character!

Overall, I enjoyed it as the level of violence was a surprise.

I'm half way through this and did wonder what you'd make of it. The language was a surprise with lots of adult words in there. Did you watch in black and white or colour?

After the first episode I thought it would be quite annoying as I thought Cage's secretary was going to be used to make bad jokes but she's calmed down a bit and it's got a bit more serious.

Think you’re mistaken there. I’ve seen they’ll be four series in total.

2022/24/26/28

I can’t really remember anything from the first two, other than it was ok. Will have to re-watch before giving series 3 a go.
