when the war was declared, berwick had been swapping from english to scottish for ages (13 times i think) so it was specifically named in the declaration just to avoid any confusion,
but when the peace treaty was signed berwick wasn't mentioned, so they are still at it.

and even if this story isn't factually correct i don't care :)
i love a good story whether it's true or not

They're waiting on a delivery of carbon paper so it all can be sent out in duplicate, problem is that since John Menzies shut they're struggling for a new supplier.
 
There's an almost arrogant feel to all this now. I understand it is a hugely complex case, but I'm not having it they couldn't give an approximate timeframe for release of their initial findings by now. Given how long it has dragged on already, its like the ultimate power trip, and they are really getting off on having everyone on their toes. That plus the shitload of money they're earning, the longer it drags out haha.
