Nigel Farage

Farage, Yaxley-Lennon and The Reformograph have all popped up again to fan the flames while London Mayoral candidate Laila Cunningham valiantly defends "Nigel" on Newsnight.

Make no mistake, this has been a senseless waste of a young life and the police have questions to answer but what are this grim crew trying to achieve other than kicking it off before walking away saying: "Nowt to do with me mate."
I don’t think there’s an attempt to achieve anything, I think he’s lost his temper at the situation and has said something he’ll later regret.

I’ve done it myself today, I was that angry watching the body cam footage I liked something I’d never normally like online and then retracted it.

The left need to take a long hard look at themselves here though, it’s that sort of thinking and ideological thought process that has left Henry Nowak dying in the manner he did.

So the MP for Clacton On Sea:

1, has not held any in person MP surgeries in Clacton On sea since becoming an MP saying that is for his security and is as per advice received from the HoC. Spoiler alert, this is untrue.
2, has not been seen in Parliament for nearly 11 weeks since it became known that he took a £5million gift from British-Thai crypto billionaire Christopher Harbourne for his security. No, sorry, correction - it was for successfully campaigning for Brexit for so many years.
3, has been absent for the last 77 Parliament votes in a row-also see 2, above.
4, has claimed that the £5million gift details were leaked due to Russian phone hacking, yet has not reported it and has had to face an ultimatum from Labour chair Anna Turley to report it to the Met and the National Cyber Security Centre. It wasn’t reported by him or Reform so Anna Turley did it for him.
4, piped up in the press about the Henry Newark murder and subsequently riots have now begun in Southampton.

I’m sure there are more but just what positive things do people think this guy is doing for the people and the country??
Personally, I detest the grifting **** and cannot for the life of me understand why people would vote for him.

However, I’ve decided that I will be voting for Reform in the next GE. With all the angst and rage bait against the current government, I’ve understood that the UK needs a period of understanding. As long as Reform promise me that my 20 odd grand that I pay in taxes, and that my previous payments will be acknowledged and put into their private insurance bill, then why shouldn’t I be content with their plans, from a personal perspective.

At least they’ve said that they’ll cut funding to the rich pensioners, which will include our mothers and fathers, and deregulate/reverse working peoples rights, then why shouldn’t I give them my vote. After all, my kids are sound and the excess they give me back from taxes will only go back to supporting them.

For those who want Reform/ConForm/ReTory, be sure of what you vote, as there’s people like me who will actively vote for what you are asking for, because you want it for ‘other’ reasons.

I know that if I hadn't turned up for work for close on twelve weeks without a sick note I would've been sacked.

Yeah, I mean, it’s so out of character for Nigel, he was probably just so busy helping his constituents and just ‘lost his temper’ in the moment.

Belter that. #poornigel

Defending Farage.

And gets likes.

Too rudiculous as a Clarkie. Nice try though.

I’m not defending Farage, I’m saying his comments were said in anger and he’ll regret them?

They’re also, despite deflection attempts, not the centre piece of this tragic story.

So the UK needs a period of understanding and Reform and Farage are going to be delivering that should they become the governing party? Just like they are as a minor party; no hate, divisiveness or angry speeches to start riots then? Not sure that will happen to be honest.

And just to be clear, is abolishing the below rights what you mean by “deregulate/reverse people’s rights”? Doing this will provide lots of understanding for the general population I suppose when they can be simply sacked and evicted from their homes with no notice or rights and are generally treated like dirt.

Employment Rights Act 2025
  • Zero-Hours Contracts: The right to guaranteed hours and compensation for short-notice shift cancellations.
  • Fire and Rehire: The recent bans on dismissing employees to re-engage them on worse terms.
  • Unfair Dismissal: The current rule allowing employees to challenge unfair dismissal after six months on the job.
Renters Rights Act 2026
  • Scrapping No-Fault Evictions (Section 21): Landlords must now prove legally valid grounds (e.g., to sell or move in) to repossess their properties.
  • Abolishing Fixed Terms: All tenancies are now indefinite, periodic (rolling) tenancies. Tenants need to give only two months' notice to leave.
  • Rental Bidding Bans: Bidding wars are illegal; agents and landlords cannot accept offers above the advertised rent.
  • Upfront Rent Limits: Demanding or requiring more than one month's rent in advance is banned.
  • Database & Ombudsman: All landlords must belong to an ombudsman scheme and register on a new private database.

I don't think he's said anything in anger at all. He's prepared a script and stood in front of a camera - between the idea to do that and executing the idea there was plenty of time for him to cool down. He's saying what he's saying not because he gives a shite about Henry Novak but because he knows what kind of opportunity Henry's death provides. More TV time, more news coverage, more LBC interviews, more money. It's all he gives a shit about. By the time people realise this we'll be even further up shit creek as a country and they'll still find a way to blame the "woke left".

Exactly. He will have been fully briefed on the situation. He will have been fully briefed on the boys families wishes. Interviews prepared, talking points written. There was no heat of the moment anger. It was pure Nigel Farage opportunist grifting shite.

Everything he does is for himself. No one else. And anyone else’s feelings are totally disregarded. Peak ****. Pound shop Trump.

100%. It also means he can get on the news without having to discuss the ridiculously dodgy money that's been coming his way, which he has completely hidden from public view to avoid. He's a duplicitous piece of shit who carries on doing enormous amounts of damage to this country.
