PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

But I think they have to explain their decision as well. They’re gonna look complete nuggets if they can’t give their reasons as to our guilt. So, they look like arseholes if they can’t give a reasoned answer when asked why they found us guilty, or they look like arseholes in the eyes of a load of keyboard warriors if they find us innocent. These, I would hope, are highly educated people so I would like to think they will go with what they believe to be the truth, not with what a load of arseholes WANT them to say??
You seem to have an extremely high trust that highly educated and experienced people are infallible when making legal judgements of evidence. I do not have that same unlimited trust that we are undoubtedly getting a fair unbiased and correct judgement from this panel (but I hope we do).

I trust Khaldoon and the club, I do not necessarily have the same high trust that a PL "independent" panel will deliver an unbiased verdict while laughing of all the immense widespread public pressure to deliver a guilty verdict (but hopefully they will!).

Meaning I will believe the club is innocent almost regardless of what the verdict will be in this matter. Simply a guilty verdict would not be enough for me to think we are actually guilty, it would have to be something completely shocking and undeniable evidence to convince me of us being guilty.

Exactly this. And it will be positioned as...

MANCHESTER CITY 115 CHARGES VERDICT CONFIRMED: GUILTY!!

Manchester City found guilty of the most serious of the 115 charges, according to experts. Club claims outcome confirmed that they were found not guilty (experts agree that this was true for some of the minor inconsequential charges). Punishment details imminent, and could lead to expulsion, demotion, points deduction, and Liverpool being retrospectively made champions. Anfield gearing-up for bus parade and t-shirts.

FFS you scared me there!

I don't care what the media prints but don't give people over here a heart attack!

Fucking mental how people act because we've broke every record. Now we're talking who's better pep or Fergie, how can it be a debate the fucking records are there in front of people, denial at its finest. Peps the best manager and citys the greatest premier League team, won the quintuple english treble the Phil and Gary Neville treble and 4 in a row and it's still an argument. Fucking mental

Jesus fucking Christ my heart just stopped. Fucking hell

I think Khaldoon’s comments are just reiterating his long-standing confidence that we will win, rather than knowing that we have won.
To say what he did Khaldoon must know how the judgement went. He came over very bullish & not someone remotely concerned.

I don’t think Koolhand took one backward step in that interview today. I’d imagine, if he had any concerns about 115, he’d have at least dropped a few “we’re prepared for any eventuality” type comments.
Hecame across to me as super confident and a man like him will be very aware of the impact his words and demeanour have.

All I’ll say is that if Khaldoon doesn’t know that the IC have ruled in our favour or hasn’t got very good reason to believe that they will then that’s a very rash, borderline stupid answer to a question he’s had plenty of time to prepare for … and Khaldoon definitely isn’t rash or stupid.
Exactly, he’s doesn’t need to answer it like that if he doesn’t know or if he’s not confident, he knows.

I think some people on here want to make it more difficult than it is. Argue for arguings sake.

Listen to his words, look at his body language, he is a man who rubs shoulders with the worlds biggest movers.

PB called it ages ago. The rest is for likes and ego.

Enjoy the victory when it comes blues, whoever said what and when it really doesn’t matter.

Let’s get our league title back.

Given the internet’s ignorati view that Pep and various players are leaving because they ‘know what’s coming’, it seems that it’s never crossed their tiny minds to wonder why a man of Khaldoon’s esteem, prestige, and global political and business presence would still be here standing in front of the cameras doing an unconvincing chemical Ali impression.
