PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Ok so here’s the fantasy scenario I’ve worked out. The clubs signing of players from Arsenal and Tottenham provided them with evidence of wrongdoing which they were bound to disclose as part of discovery on the defense of the 115 charges. This is the “glasshouse” to which Khaldoon alluded. Levi and what’s his name resigned. Now the league is sorting out their punishment (along with Chelsea). City have been found not guilty and are just sitting back laughing because it’s likely that Arsenal will be stripped of their 2026 title. Pep quit because he objected to winning the league in this manner.

I currently have too much time on my hands.

Fucking mental how people act because we've broke every record. Now we're talking who's better pep or Fergie, how can it be a debate the fucking records are there in front of people, denial at its finest. Peps the best manager and citys the greatest premier League team, won the quintuple english treble the Phil and Gary Neville treble and 4 in a row and it's still an argument. Fucking mental
And the highest win % of any manager in the Premier League.

Can you imagine what that wonderful sit down will do though ? If Khaldoon cuts loose and tells it how it is, then we are going to own the premier league, nothing will be how it was, especially if he names teams and individuals can't wait !!!
I think you’re getting a bit carried away tbh. Even if/when we are cleared I think it’s highly unlikely that an operator like Khaldoon is going to “cut loose”, as you put it. I imagine he’d be scathing, of course, but diplomatic enough as to not completely destroy relationships with both the league and other clubs with which we will have to co-exist. You’d like to think he’d have Masters head on a spike at the very least though.

Khaldoon either knows something based on how the tribunal went or he is deluded. I think he knows something. He is certainly not deluded. He is surrounded by high quality people and he will have been briefed fully during and after the tribunal in detail. No stone will have been left unturned. Only time will tell. Come on City!

It is interesting that not a single media group has found out why Tim Lewis and Levy quit their clubs. Or have just chosen not to publish it. Perhaps it is just a coincidence. It seems odd though.

you missed the obvious. he knows we, or should i say he, didn't do it.

Hearing starts Sept 24.

Hearing ends Dec 24.

Jan 25 : City sign £180M of new players (Khusanov, Marmoush, Gonzalez, Reis) and Haaland signs a 10 year deal.
Conclusion : City were able to demonstrate to those players that the hearing had finished favourably.

No verdict for 18 months, which everyone agrees is far too long for any legal drafting process.
Conclusion : Hearing must be going through a secret appeals process.

Soft signals throughout this period. More players signed. Long term sponsors signed. Absolute confidence (bordering on annoyance) from City leadership.

No leaks whatsoever from either the Premier League or their red cartel cronies. Not even a whisper from any of them that the case has gone against us.

Seriously, apart from a vague suggestion that Pep's 10 year burnout was actually an escape tunnel (which I don't believe), I'm struggling to see any negative spin on any of it. What am I missing?

In the eventuality of a resounding City victory, individuals like Masters wil clearly have to resign.

Khaldoon can be forceful against those individuals while building bridges the incoming replacements to make sure we maintain a strong relationship with the PL as an organisation.

And whoever is replacing Masters would be happy with that because they would want to keep city onside and move on.

Not in their interest to persue it, being the spineless cabal supporting whores that they are.

They fucking know though, you can be sure of that !

You've missed off the £300 million pounds we since spent on the new North Stand
