Is there a red shirt cartel or are we just deluded?

Been a red shirt cartel for years, but none will admit it .... you'll find some of the biggest liars in the country at Old Trafford, The Emirates and Anfield .... it's a wonder their red noses aren't six foot long .

Tell him it's the Premier League who have levelled all these ridiculous charges at us, and they turn up for work in clown outfits .. not red shirts !

There ya go see, i kid you not, there's one of em' stood in their office right now as we speak!

In my experience professional football at club level, has never been better than it is now. Stadiums are better and safer. The football is a higher quality and much more watchable than I've ever seen it. Like the poster who said earlier in the thread that they "wanted their club back", most of this is over the top nostalgia. No idea if their is a red shirt cartel.
 
calling it a cartel saves having to write "a small group of clubs with a common goal, which is to crush any challenge to their once hegemony, ". Putting red shirt in front of cartel is because the three clubs behind the attacks on City all play in red, simple as that. If it acts like a cartel, talks like a cartel.....

This is complete crap and i for one im tired of hearing it, the media say that they push the dipper, rag, tarquin crap because its what people watch, the thing is its what people watch because its all that you show, its a self sustaining prophecy, show other stuff and people will watch that, its forced media.

I would say there is a rotten to the core yank cartel, would that include the likes of Wrexham, Birmingham and Bournemouth?
 
There are a couple of things that point to their being s red cartel.
1st - common sense. It's how the world works, always. Follow the money.
2nd - We can see the bias in play. The media are the lense through which we see, and they are part of that very same cosy setup. (Imagine if City had hacked Liverpool accounts. Or that we repeatedly failed FFP as per utd - different headlines completely).
3rd - We all know which clubs (explicitly) have the greater say in how the PL rules and governance works.
4th - A european superleague is a threat and that comes from the Utds and Arsenal's etc leaving the PL. Not Brighton or wolves etc. This gives them some more leverage.

But mainly its just the common sense that there would be a group of clubs that have more power. That's how things work everywhere.

I think they could be like minded but not operated as a Cartel. They could also be pulling all the strings and making sure they get exactly what they want. By banding together at the expense of others. Which is probably the definition of a Cartel?

We’ve seen the evidence of the working together. The Arsenal-headed letter is more than enough proof of their scheming to restrict our freedom and growth, so it would be naïve to think that they aren’t continuing to further their aims.
