Never said you did :)
Ah, my mistake. :)

Yes, he's definitely NOT Scott Sinclair. I think he is potentially an excellent attacking midfielder. Not sure what level I would rate him at yet because as has been pointed out many, many times he's 20. I hope he doesn't have one of those long settling in periods, though.

Well, maybe we will hear something tomorrow......

I really don't understand why it takes us about a week to place a new bid.

its called negotiation

The Liverpool Echo running a lovely pro-Pool piece on the whole affair this morning:

- LFC braced for third bid
- haven't heard anything from City since rejection of the second bid
- LFC adamant do not want to sell
- but given Sterling's open desire to leave, if a bid comes in at £50m (payable upfront), they'd consider it
- Sterling's form bombed last year and the fans turned on him
- LFC are on a recruitment drive, including Clyne from Soton who is 'desperate' to join them.

Hee hee

What they really meant was:-

-LFC desperate for third City bid
-LFC haven't hear anything since they rejected a private bid from City in the media just like they always do
-LFC adamant that they want as much money as possible
-LFC want Sterling to fuck off for as much money as possible
-Liverpool fans are classless cunts who turn on their own players and brick the coaches of supporters who respect their Hillsborough anniversary
-LFC always recruit their players via the media, even though LFC is disgusted if they think another club is doing that to them
-LFC desperate to sign even more players from Soton to make sure they finish 2 points above them again

Haha if a bid of £50m came in they'd "consider" it. Well that's nice of them isn't it.

its called negotiation
I appreciate its called negotiation. But why would we wait so long.

Last Wednesday news broke we bid 35 plus 5. Liverpool wanted 50 as they have done throughout and rejected it.

Now you know we are going to bid again and so do I. So here we are again a week later with no news of that bid.

What is there to negotiate that takes a week long? Tolmie has already said the players have agreed to sign so it's not that....

In a perfect world, we've done a gentleman's agreement with sterling to come on a free at the end of the season. That'll just be beautiful.

They need the money to buy players more than we need to sign Sterling. The longer we wait the more likely they are to accept a straight 40m or 40+5
