In what world are Liverpool going to give in?

We don't look desperate, we look like we want to bring in a top player. That's all.

Regardless of how much Liverpool sell him for they are already a selling club. Torres, Alonso, Mascherano & Suarez all moved on to win trophies. It's nothing new.

I want Sterling at City as much as anyone, but if Liverpool get 50m for him they come out of this whole saga very well getting that much for him and will be praised for holding out for that much for him.

We are in a situation because of our need for English players, we are going to be absolutely rinsed for every penny the selling club can get out of us.

But the fact will remain they sold one of their best assets. People saying they did well at getting £50 million would have been the same ones saying Spurs did well at getting £80 million for Bale. Yet I can't remember Madrid spending weeks putting in low offers that Spurs were never going to accept.

Real, Barca, PSG & us will always get rinsed for players. It is what it is

If Liverpool get 50m for Sterling it will look better for them than it would for us, until he lives upto his potential anyway.

Remember £50 million from us is £40 million to Liverpool. QPR get 20%.

Without QPR's 20%, Liverpool would have bitten our hand off when we offered £40 million.

Our £35 million bid was only £28 million to Liverpool, I can see why they rejected it.

Looking at that, yeah I agree.

20% sell on, wow!!
