Odd how this one came out of the blue on Monday, hasn't really gotten a lot of publicity in the UK papers, and nothing since that L'Equippe report. Weird one, this.
 
We may have agreed personal terms etc... but until we sell Sagna he can't be bought.

No way will we go into the season with three right fullbacks and no way will we be buying him as a holding midfielder after just one or two appearances there.

Sagna's wages may be an issue but I guess we will only want a nominal fee - and you'd hope he'd want out for regular football but the fact he signed for us puts a questionmark against his motivation ( he was never likely to play much and didn't despite Zab having a real dip in form.).
 
Pay off Sagna. Just adds a few million to the cost of his replacement but it's worth it. He is too old to get better. Arsenal played a blinder here - fair deuce to them.

Not really Arsenal got nothing for him we should get some fee
