Pay off Sagna. Just adds a few million to the cost of his replacement but it's worth it. He is too old to get better. Arsenal played a blinder here - fair deuce to them.
Not really Arsenal got nothing for him we should get some fee
they pretended they wanted him when they knew he was done. We thought we were getting a bargain - instead he just got an anchor.

Agreed, we won't sell anymore HG. I can see Dzeko/Jov/Nasri/Sagna/Aleks leaving.
Would anybody else, but me, be sad to see Kolorov leave?

Neither he nor Clichy are that sh*t hot at defending, but A.K. Certainly looks a lot more effective than Clichy when we're pushing forward (Better delivery from crosses, free kicks, etc).

Had his best season, by miles last year, and, to me at least, definitely looked to be the option that MP preferred.

If there were better options at left back with homegrown they would be gone....is Danny Rose/Aaron Cresswell an upgrade on Clichy ....if Alex moves on we should go for either Baba Rahman or better still Alex Sandro

Why would they have done that? They didn't gain anything at all.

Alex sandro would be an amazing signing. Was told at the end of the season he was high on our list.

I'd be pretty disappointed if we brought in another right back without giving Maffeo a shot, he's a little Pab Zab and I think we'd regret blocking his path.

Maffeo will probably not play this year, but will hopefully step up and be ready next season when Sagna will be gone and Zabba potentially is winding down. Having Fabinho and Maffeo to deputise for an ageing Zab sounds like a good plan!

Sagna has done ok imo.

Many of the team underperformed last season, in fact most of them, including Zaba who was nowhere near it most of the season. I don't think it's fair to single out Sagna in those circumstances.

I agree we don't want to block Maffeo. If we do sign a rb, he should be a spectacular improvement on Zaba & Sagna imo, or it's not worth it for this season.

There is not many RB who would be a big upgrade on Zabba, in fact I can think of only one ...

If Fabinho joins then hopefully he's decent. Personally I don't think Sagna did much wrong last season, it's just that he didn't do anything that particularly shone. The abuse is unnecessary though, as with Fernando.

Kolarov shouldn't be going anywhere, it'll take a 20m+ player to replace him.
