We get last seasons golden boy winner, the dippers get Benteke and no change whatsoever when you factor in his increased wages and QPR's cut. Liverpool have definitely won though...
Off tour trolley - no offence - if you think we need Isco over Pogba.I'm still indifferent over the whole pogba thing, I'd much rather we tested the water with Isco, someone to really give silva much needed support.
Well the journalists get paid a hell of a lot of cash for it so I know who I'm going for.Every player who signs for City is automatically on 200k a week. Who's more daft, "journalists" who report it or the people who believe it?
Hazard now 24 we didn't see him at 20 in the PL but we have seen Raheem at age 19 destroying teams in the PL. His potential is limitless! No he isn't.
Was assured Sterling would get done and same goes for Pogba.
Delph, likewise, so you can appreciate both sides of the spectrum.
Whatever the price, whoever wants to claim the bragging rights, or the moral victory...
Sterling in a Man City shirt is a very frightening prospect for every rival we will face.
And that's value for money in every respect.
Thanks TH. Appreciate that things don't always go to planWas assured Sterling would get done and same goes for Pogba.

Liverpool fans are so giddy about the fee it's brilliant.
Wait until the realisation hits that QPR get £9 million and they've spent the rest on Benteke.
Kun?What I like about Sterling that sets him apart from other players in the same mold is that he's unpredictable. He can go in any direction and he scares the shit out of defenders. We just don't have anyone that can do that.
He's exactly what we need on so many levels. Looking at it purely from a footballing perspective. A front free of Silva Aguero and Sterling is tantalising. Much better than the original SAS ;)
Won what exactly? Losing their most talented player 2nd year in row and then overspending on Paulinho MkII before wasting rest of their money reserves on donkeke?
Correct Swp,that's the key in becoming successful for me and if they were willing to pay £35 million for Carroll back then, then he's worth more than we're paying.Nope. The team that wins is the team that keeps their best players.
Did Spurs win when Bale left or the Mickeys when Suarez departed?
Nope. They certainly didn't.
I know the fuckwits, the desperation to pretend it's victory in some kind of battle,is so embarrassing.
You know I was thinking £70m+ is an awful lot for him and, I haven't seen enough to really confirm an opinion. One thing is though everyone I know who watched him as a kid at the swamp and many respected former players say the same - that he is going to be the best player in the world one day. I still think as a club we have to adopt a strategy of only buying one or two each year and hopefully the youth will start to make up the difference. The problem has been buying 4 or 5 every window, naturally some don't work out, like Jovetic and Sagna and this is too costly to keep up no matter how much our turnover goes up. So I agree with you especially over Isco.I'm still indifferent over the whole pogba thing, I'd much rather we tested the water with Isco, someone to really give silva much needed support.
