De Bruyne?

I think defensive centre midfield is more important than defence.

I think thats where we have been found wanting against better teams and often our midfield two last season were up against a midfield three, who because of numerical advantage could just pass it around our two and therefore dominate the game.
 
If this gets done, I feel were set with attack and midfield as our front 4 would be insane and believe Delph could help protect the back 4 thus surprising many people with his performances. He could line up with dinho or yaya and he would perform imo. All that's left for me is a LB now. Mangala and Kompany should have a solid season.

Pretty much agree with you on that......i think our transfers have all been good (ins and outs...though i would have got rid of Kolorov as well) but i think our major weakness from last year which was exposed my MPs tactics is still going to be there...unless delph can fill that gap....and sterling and KDB (if we get him) will have a awful lot of work to to defensively)

Indeed, but MP's reluctance to play youngsters means I'm only considering Delph and Sterling as likely regular first-team squad members. That's on the pitch or bench rather than just training with them and playing a few cup games. Whereas we've lost Milner, Lampard, Dzeko and Jovetic (not that the f&*^er was ever fit). I see Deneyer for Boyata as just swapping fourth choice central defenders.

Delph will improve our midfield from a defence point of view and I think Ferndo will have a better season.

I personally do not think mangala nor kolorov should be playing in our defence. 1 Mangala gets caught out of position far too much he doesn't have time to dwell on the ball in this league, and kolorov is not really a lb more like a winger

City watch on Twitter has just posted that the De Bruyne deal could be in doubt as bayern are to make hijack the deal. This is getting boring ain't it lol
