I think the transfer window naturally brings matters to a head.

I am not sure that any official no matter how well connected or good at his job can force a move through by strength of will-power. If a club does not want to sell, or a player does not wish to rock the boat, then what can you do? Write a huge cheque? There are limits.

Maybe there will be developments. Hoping so as City have clearly identified the player as a top target. I was more excited about the Sterling deal and think that our forward line is already insanely strong. I'd rather look at midfield, but one of the few world class mifielders out there who you'd know would strengthen us is beyond reach so I guess you have to try and sign quality where you can find it. Try is all you can do.

You answer it, with a sensible intelligent answer. Give an answer to your own question. Think of one thing that can possibly answer it. Anything at all.
 
It sounds like there are too many "almost done"s and "nearly there"s for this not to happen. Like with Sterling, just going through the motions to appease their fans I reckon.

Ha, there won't be a medical today, but apparently he's going to formally request to leave Wolfsburg today. As mentioned last night, that'll swing things decisively in our favour.

Wolfsburg surely can`t keep KDB if he asks to leave?

If he wins everything as well as makes more than required appearances (played games/mins), then yes... He COULD earn up to that much.

Don't forget we work on the FCB model of Basic + high Bonus...
