Everyday he's brought out into the sun and asked if he's going to put in a transfer request, he sheepishly shakes his head,
And his agent says, it's not the done thing in Germany,
And so he goes back to training under the evil gaze of The Big Bad Wallof.

Look at the Sterling situation - yes we got him, but look at what we had to pay to make it happen, and that was with a player pretty desperate to leave. If Chelsea or United had come in with the same bid at the last moment, doubtless he would have gone there instead. We only got him because we paid over the odds.

The alternative is to buy b-list players and hope they become a-list. We can pull that off occasionally but again 9 times out of 10 they will stay b-list and we don't need backup players, we need to add top talent if we are to progress from where we are.

Bottom line, pay Wolfsburg what is needed and get it done.

Maybe Chelsea but why on earth would he have gone to the rags over us? One side is going places the other isnt.

There is a debate on his comparison with Hazard, but the idea he is slow, is fucking moronic.

The same "neutrals" voted him player of the season by a big majority........... he isn't Hazard but he will be right up there with the best if not there yet

I think that Hazard has proved to be a tremendous player - also his attitude seems first class.

I think KDB, if he comes, will prove to be level above Hazard - and I believe that will be apparent within a few months in a CITY shirt

So if he is , or never will be as good as Hazard (who's the same age), why the fuck are we even thinking of signing him?

Just because the shackles are off as you put it does not mean that we will just spend vast sums on all players, MCFC is now a business and has to show a sustainable model, we also need to let all teams that we deal with that whilst we do want players we will not simply pay whatever fee they ask for.

Books still need to be balanced for now and whilst the Sheik is rather rich there has to be a line drawn somewhere.

I believe that we will get De Bruyne and also that we are still in for Pogba and if he becomes available he will be the one that we break the bank for.

That opens up another can of worms, if he was a City player, and had the same phenomenal season, would he be voted player of the year?
The answer would be no, look no further than what happened to Yaya in our title winning season, there in lies the rub of how City are perceived both in the UK and on the continent, which is what Allof has alluded to, and what the Sky /FIFA cartel have been pushing, if we were were at the same level as Barca, Real Madrid, KDB would now be a City player, that we've been consistently the most successful Prem team of the past 5 years is conveniently brushed under the astro turf...
