If City meet Wolfsburgs valuation he will sign, but we are trying to haggle the price.

Basically City are trying to save 5 cents when buying a soft serve cone at Maccas.

That's how I read it. I feel we will pay the £50m. Have a feeling he maybe unveiled or the signing announced before the Chelsea game, not basing that on anything just a gut feel. Lesson I've learnt is never do business with Wolfsburg again.

This is just dragging on. When it comes to KDB, I think its more of a matter of when and not if. It's inevitable that he ends up with Man City before the deadline though the wait is super annoying.

I don't think so. Wolfsburg want £57m so there is still £7m difference. I can't see them budging from that as KDB isn't pushing for a transfer and Wolfsburg would be happy to keep him. Happy to be wrong though.

I can't see us going to 57 - it seems like that's a huge jump from our valuation and what we bid

Ha, I fully understand where he's coming from now. Some people get strangely angry if things don't happen when expected.

I should reiterate that I'm just passing on messages from someone else. That's why I don't have the answers when people ask specific questions about things like add-ons, when stories will appear in the press and so on.
