The move makes sound financial sense as well because we still have to respect FFP regs (like all clubs) and not put too much pressure on our commercial section to boost income.
Any fee can be reduced by giving VFC a debit note for the amount they still owe us regarding the Negrada deal.

I dont think that should be a major factor in the transfer. There are some fairly severe sanctions now if clubs fail to pay transfer fees. Unless Valencia are likely to go bust in which case wouldnt he become a free agent, or at least dirt cheap?

Think Denayer needs another full season out on loan before he can realistically challenge for a starting spot. Would like to see him loaned to an English Prem side to see how he fairs rather than Scottish Prem.

Martinez is always diving in last minute for any available loans - and with stones probably going he'll need a CB. Timing would be great if loan him to Everton just after we demolish (play) them.

Do City and Everton still have the close links they had in the past?

I would actually like to see Denayer go the other way for the season.

Gets him more experience in a league better than the SPL, gets him playing games (at least more so than he would here this season imo). Then perhaps this is Demichelis' last season and next year we'll have Kompany, Mangala, Otamendi and Denayer.

Doubtful he'll get games...at least not enough to aid in his development. He'd be better having a full season under his belt than the odd game here and there.
If Valencia want a CB in return then I'd loan him to them.
