De Bruyne?

Is that you Samir? :-)

Haha, I'm just a big fan of his, that's all. I know he's had his moments with a few blues, but I think he is one of those players who 'plays up' to those he is alongside. He is so skilful that he could play in a Prem League XI and not look out of place. By the same token, I do think he isnt the sort of player who could play in a poor team and would have the ability to drag it up by his own efforts.
Top and bottom of it, I don't want city to lose him just yet ;-)

Never has it been Nasri's ability that is in question.
He has no heart for the fight.
Has he ever taken a game by the scruff of the neck?

Yes, twice.

Once against Spurs and once against Chelsea.

Not a great return for almost 4 years but it is what it is

His display against Roma away was very good as well, very mature and composed.

The main issues with Nasri are his temperament and the fact he will slow the play down. He's excellent but he makes us play like the Arsenal of 4 years ago

Please stay on topic. Comparing Nasri to KDB is fine, but for a different thread.

My apologies.

I do think Nasri's role for the season, bar injuries, will be what it has been so far. When KDB comes, he'll be fighting with Navas for Pellegrini's second sub spot. All the chat today has been incredibly positive to Kev joining.

If both Otamendi and De Bruyne are allegedly close to joining I wonder if they will both be unveiled at the same time like Navas and Negredo

What a week it would to have that happen after dismantling our closest title opponents!

You're right and I'm not constantly on this site either. In fact, I've been lurking for a long time and didn't even make an account until Wednesday. None of this takes away from the fact that it's fucking annoying seeing 2 pages of KDB and Nasri comparisons when I'm just trying to find the latest news/gossip on KDB's transfer whilst on break from work.

If we get De Bruyne done, maybe this is an option?

Gazzetta dello Sport: Inter are considering Samir Nasri (28) to replace Madrid-bound Kovacic. Inter could offer loan + obligation to buy.
