Otamendi is good but we don't need him. Mangala needs to be a regular starter to perform as well as he can while adding a fifth center-back will mean even fewer first-team opportunities for Denayer.

I read some appreciation posts from the rags on their forum. They were all quiet impressed with our summer business. Many kept on insisting that Otamendi and De Bruyne would just make City far from reach in the league.

Some even suggesting that they enjoy watching City's style of play which is attack-attack-attack. Something that they feel LVG lacks. Surprising reaction from them.
