There is never a dull moment with the team. First half was a disorganised mess where you were looking for the on field organisers as well as the manager. We got the equaliser just before half time and never looked back.

Fucking hate that bastard panel on soccer Saturday with Charlie Nicholas who was shite as a player, it could have been 1-4 at half time to the magpies as hart saved with the last stud on his boot. No praise and if it was it was with gritted teeth.

Yet they will say we cant defend even though Hart is part of that defence.

CB makes a save on the line its fantastic defending yet if the keeper does its dodgy defending?

Too many on here are at it as well.

There was a continuous spell in the first half, before we equalised, when the pace of the game was simply pulsating, more akin to a cup tie than league match. It continued in the same vein after the break and reveals the standard of fitness at the club; Newcastle could not cope even with a clear week to prepare.

just got back from game. didn't think we could have come out of that dire first half and we could have been a few goals down. Sterling Navas swap was a good call from Pellers, Sterling slowed the game with his indecisiveness he is low on confidence and looks like feeling the pressure.

I'v been a critic of Bony but today he showed some determination.

De bruyne and Aguero, well what a pair.

Thought the Navas introduction changed the game for us, he put chalk on his boots and allowed everyone more space. Direct and pacey. Not the best game for Sterling and about time for a break for him. Well done today Pellers. Got the subs bang on. Aguero will just have to try and score 6 another day!

watched it on espn , and all they could say at half time was how newcastle dominated ? We had more shots on target , more shots off target , more corners , more possession overall , and more possesssion in their half , the barcodes created one more decent chance wish joe saved one on one , but they forgot to mention the newcastle player was 3 yards offside,. So its not just bitter that bastard Nicholas , its all of them. No doubt we will now be accused of being a one man team , so very predictable , just glad for the geordies sake that MP took aguero and merlin off , because that really was going to be a cricket score.

or should we just pretend it didn't happen?

Forget what?

A premier league side scored a goal against us partly due to a few lucky deflections.

It happens but on the plus side we managed to score 6 and its that i will focus on and enjoy.

I was actually stunned to hear the shit he came out with. Not just his words either. He had such a sour fucking look on his ugly fucking mug, he was gutted that we won and couldn't bear to give us the slightest bit of praise.
I hope his next shit is a hedgehog.
I heard him too and it was astounding really.

You know Sterling's shit when Navas puts in a better performance. I'd argue Sterling's last good performance was against Waford.

Have to happy with that 5 goals in a half is what we are clearly capable of and we need to get that hunger week in week out to make a statement.

Hope I don't get banned from this thread when I say our first half was average.

Apparently Sergio was a doubt to start the second half but very glad he stayed on for 20 minutes.

Hopefully he won't feature for Argentina in the the next two weeks.

Poor first half again, great 2nd half.

Aguero back to his best. de bruyne and silva excellent. Fernando good 2nd half.

Defence shaky in first half and sterling very very poor. He needs time on the bench.

I really think that the defense will benefit from the offense breaking faster and not holding up play like they did in the first half. It keeps teams honest. Early on they could push forward because if they lost possession they'd have plenty of time to get back.

Awful 1st half. Incredible 2nd. Navas showing why he is important to the balance of the team.

Aguero, Silva and KDB were fantastic.

Well done Pellegrini for changing things at half time.

Poor first half again, great 2nd half.

sterling very very poor. He needs time on the bench.

he doesnt NEED time on the bench, thats the last thing he needs. what NEEDS to happen is the manager to recognize where his special abilities can help the team and instruct the other players to work his game into theirs a bit more. at the moment he is not using his abilities to the benefit of the team, which is a management issue.

on the flip side, navas has improved this season.
